Women's Exhibition Game

Folks:

Just a reminder the ISU women's basketball team plays Colorado State-Pueblo this Saturday at the ICCU Court at Reed Gym.

Tip off time is noon. (It's an earlier start because of the home football game...) This is the only exhibition game of the season for ISU and CSU-P isn't a pushover, they won 21 games last season and made the division II playoffs.

If ISU takes this game lightly, CSU-P has the capacity to win the game.

If you can't make it out in person, pregame coverage on KISU starts at 11:40 AM with Brad Bugger and myself.

It's going to be an interesting year for the Bengals, I suspect that if they can stay away from injuries it will be another good one.

Hope to see you at Reed Gym Saturday to start the year off right.

Folks:

Thanks for coming out today. Given everything else that is going on and the different start time it was a nice crowd.

For those that missed it, ISU won 50-24, they held the Thunderwolves to 10 points in the second half.

Defense and 'hustle-type' plays look to be in mid season form. Offense still needs work, they had issues in the second half but that might have been because Seton was playing a lot of people.

Reed and Vella had 10 points, Maracigan had nine rebounds. Horton had eight points and seven rebounds and four steals.

Remember Friday night the season really begins. ISU at Kansas State. Pregame starts at 4:30, tip off at five Poky time. (Women's / Men's DH that night which is why the odd start time.)

Sunday at Kansas...pregame at 12:40 Poky time. Tip at one.
