Women's Program Receives Verbal Committment

Come mid-November when the signing day arrives you're going to see a number of new future ISU players come on-board.

Seton and his staff really worked hard at next year's class knowing they would have to replace five players including some of the best the school has ever had in Oakes and Vella.

I think the fans aren't going to be disappointed at least from what I'm hearing.

The Idaho Statesman made mention that PG Sherise Porchia of Centennial High (Meridian) has given a verbal committment to ISU...

Centennial Patriots

Coach: Cassie Bro, first season

2011-12 record: 20-6, 16-2 5A SIC

Returning starters: Sherise Porchia, senior, point guard (11.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 3.3 apg, shoots 36 percent from 3-point range); Morgan Weigel, senior, guard (7.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.5 apg, shoots 31 percent from 3-point range)

Team tidbit: Porchia, who has verbally committed to Idaho State, will be one of the top players in the conference and is one of six lettermen back from last year’s state runner-up team. Bro, a Lake City High and Idaho State graduate, comes to Centennial after serving most recently as an assistant at Division II Barry University in Florida.
