• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

This article is highlighting last years signing class. As I look through the names and compare with the roster from the end of last year there seems to be a lot of fallout.
Would some of the missing names still be on the team or is this much fallout typical?

I don't think there has been much fallout at all. I believe only two of those players are not part of the program. Adams didn't make it into school and Topps was murdered. Three of the players, Hecker, Jenkins and Chapman are props. Unless there has been some changes since school started again last month, everybody else either played or is a redshirt.

I'm pretty sure thewatcher is correct. Topps was killed and Adams never made it to campus. The only two that used a year of eligibility were Brown and Seto. We had three Prop 48's that should be ready next fall and the other eight were all redshirted and are still in school.

We get hyped about the new signees but often forget we have a class of guys we haven't seen yet that were pretty heralded last year coming in and have only gotten bigger/stronger/faster that we were fortunate to not have to play. I'd rather see them at 22 years old than at 18...

Of the new guys, I'm not sure ANY of them play next year. Maybe McCarthy... We're pretty solid at all the positions the young guys are coming in at. Seto wouldn't have played this year had we not had injuries at tight end and likely the same for Super Mario had we stayed healthy at RB.

Of course, I'm not including Pulu. I don't count him as a "recruit" or even as a "drop down". He'd still be starting at UW except for a bad decision... He's up to 285 lbs. and it's not fat. He's just a beast and will be playing on the interior of the D Line. Renard has one of those spots so that's going to make Katoa, Moetului, Cook, & Miles work that much harder for that other spot. Right now, I'd have to say Pulu is the starter at left tackle.
