Worst Loss Ever

This loss to UVU, has got to be the worst loss ever in the history of Wildcat Basketball.

1. UVU had just lost to SUU and before that MSU. Supposedly, we are the best team in the big fluff conference. But, yet, both SUU and MSU, teams we consider to be far beneath us, beat this same UVU team.

2. UVU has an RPI of 347 and hadn't come close to beating any DI programs. They had been beaten by both BYU and USU by 31 and 25 respectfully (two teams that we played tough, but ultimately lose too).

3. UVU was playing without their best player. He is out. We had both our preseason all-big sky guys playing. As Sir Velo pointed out to me. Also, USU was without their best big and BYU was down two players; one a starter and the other a top reserve.

4. Very little travel was involved. Yes, in the past, under Rahe the Cats have had their annual WTF game in conference losing to MSU, ISU, UNCO, and Sac...but significant travel was involved or it was a trap/rivalry game. None of those losses were against 347!!!

5. Most of UVU's players were not recruited by anyone else, DI, other than UVU.

6. UVU was selected as the preseason #6 in the WAC a terrible conference, even though we all know the big fluff isn't anything to write home about.

This is the most utterly embarrassing loss in the history of Weber State history.

According to Rahe they're a very good team.

In his mind 4 worst team in the Nation is a good team.

Even the talent of the bottom of the barrel Division I teams blow his mind because he's so accustomed to seeing NAIA teams on the other bench.

I hate talking ****, because I think Randy Rahe is a good person, but that can't get in the way of business decisions.
