Not much more to say than that from Omaha. WTF good/bad thing is these refs won't be used again next round. Some people complain about officiating and I never have. BUT WTF? we deserved better than a 16 bottom line. This is probably the last time I ever watch this tourney.
 
Congratulations on a great season Vikings.

Your Defense came out and made a statement in the 2nd half. Good team, good coach. I'll be cheering for you next season. Take the Big Sky again next year!

Great game guys. Wish we could of made it more competitive but we'll use the experience! Hopefully next year we can get a higher seed a win a game or two.

Good showing for the Viks. Started slow but hung in there and kept the score respectable. Congrats on a historic season for your school.

The Big Sky team will never get any calls in this tourney because that's the way the NCAA wants it - it's always been that way and always will be, especially in the 1/16 games.

Kansas is good but not a final four team. Clemson will give them all they want in the sweet 16 and if they survive that, Georgetown will beat them in the elite 8. Kansas always blows it on the big stage and will again this year.

I hope you are not basing your opinion on this game... You are entitled to your opinions, but if you happened to watch the Big XII championship, I think you would have a different opinion.

*Sighs*, we better go tell the boys to not even bother suiting up on Saturday since we aren't a final four team according to some random PSU poster who thinks his opinion is the end all, be all. Tis a shame, I had high hopes.
 
I was a little more crushed after that 1 versus 16 Holy Cross "loss", Thoughtthephog. Remember? We got Kirk hurt, our pride wounded, and the world told us what pretenders we were. End result? A Final Four appearance.

Something tells me we'll be ok this time, too.

But I also did see some holes in Kansas.

Take it however you want I still have you guys winning in every bracket the thing I will be watching for on Saturday is if Kansas can establish a game down low. We know you can shoot. But This is really the first time I have seen KU play this year. They were great as expected but oops don't put you all through the tourney. Go KU and you will get to the sweet 16 but after that IDK.. You have an offense that transforms into an offense that most teams can't defend but to be honest the down low presence needs to be established now. And as a PSU fan I was surprised not to see more of that. Maybe I am wrong and you all can drop it from 40 feet shot after shot but I also love sports and thats what I see KU needs to do.
 
establish a game down low? have you never seen kansas play or didn't watch the game today? 3 of our first 4 baskets were dunks. arthur had 9 by the 10 minute mark.
 
Well, internally, we're hardly satisfied. The second half was lousy, IMHO. But you guys need to watch at least 10-15 games before you can really make a judgment on our pace, strengths, weaknesses. It's hard to tell from just one game. What concerns me most is that we tend to turn it on and turn it off too often. Last year, we were more consistent throughout the conference season. This year, we'll look like world beaters one day, but merely like a good team the next day. We've played with good energy the last 10 games of the season, and that makes me optimistic. I'm also concerned that we aren't as good defensively as we were last year. Our perimeter defense was as good as it can be last year. This year, we run in spurts.

IMO the Jayhawks need to do more I have done nothing but respect the Jayhawks but I want one big guy to establish himself as a guy in the paint. Maybe I am off with my opinion here because your O has the ability to transform into what the team you are playing wants it to be. Abd it showed that today. I won't even blame refs for our loss but you are a strong team and thats the ohly thing I can see from the floor. I don't want KU to lose again but IMO and they are there there is a guy on your team that can do this in fact there are a couple of guys. But I want to see one guy throw it down a low. Thats my opinion and it is what is. But I want one of your seniors to step up and say this is ny paint. Once again good luck guys.
 
we have that one guy in arthur. but we also have that guy in kaun and jackson and soon to be aldrich. i would rather have that 4 guys than that 1 guy
 
Yep and you can take what I have said for what is just I want one of those guys to step up and own. Yeah you beat us bad today but that doesn't mean some us don't know basketball. And this may be my own opinion but I want one of those guys to step up and dominate. Thats just my take and Rock Chalk guys you were as good as they said you were. And then some.
