Has anyone heard if AB will take the field this year? Besides Tavoy Moore--who are the newcomers that are going to contribute in the slot? Opinions?

I don't know about AB or how the WR rotation will shake out, but I think you'll see a lot of different TEs this year, and some of them will probably line up in the slot at times. Zamora, Ward, Hill, Hjelseth and Jacobsen, at a minimum, will see time. And you'll see guys like Bryant and Zamora line up at FB and then motion out into the formation. Hill has looked really good in pre-season and Jacobsen was very effective in spring ball before getting hurt. Hopefully he'll be back on the field soon.

PS--Luke Austin and John Davidson each have 5 total catches in the two scrimmages, that would lead me to believe they might see some time. I'd say it'll be Burel, Moore, Krosch and Rumble getting the majority of the reps.

Smash mouth football and ball control passing. That will be something that I have not seen very much of from Idaho State over the years. If the defense is as good as folks are telling me they are, that might not be such a bad strategy. When was the last time that ISU actually threw the ball to the TE's--Pete Molino?

I am going to love seeing the TE and FB get involved--they have a ton of both on the roster. The substitution packages are going to be hell for team to prepare for. Having Tavoy Moore to stretch the field will become very important to keep the defense from stacking the box.

Yep, getting Krosch healthy and keeping Moore healthy will be keys. Those two guys can spread the D, and then they can dink and dunk underneath. And of course, having a healthy QB is a must.

AB is out until cleared by the doctors. He is trying to get a nerve test scheduled, but the specialist he was referred to will not see him until after the season starts. Still no contact allowed for him :(
