Not a whole lot of love from the Big Sky Conference media and coaches. Prime opportunity for Weber State to fly under the radar and surprise some folks. ;-)

With how our season went last year, and with our schedule this year, it's not suprising.

Come on Weber, time to suprise everyone

Not sure who missed our only two wins last year.. Both on the road.... Either Coach Sears has totally forgotten about last year, or Roy Burton is dyslexic in typing this up... :? I witnessed both wins last year, at SUU and ISU..

"We want to be a championship-caliber team, we’ve got to win on the road,” he said. “We didn’t win one on the road last year. You talk about a motivating factor. You want to win a championship? When was the last time Weber State beat Montana, in Montana?”

More importantly, the coaching staff wasn't satisfied with the QB options, so they brought in another QB from San Mateo named Jonathan Willis. A lot of recruiting has been happening for the Cats this Spring and Summer. I wonder when the roster will be updated reflecting all the guys who have signed late or who are transfers. Weird that our head coach forgot that both wins were road wins last year. I think it would be best to worry about winning on your home field first then worrying about winning on the road. It would be nice to get to the point where the Cats can do both again consistently.

Joining the Cats from San Mateo, along with John Willis, is DB Chris Jones. Good to see that the coaching staff is worried about the DBs and QBs...we have two DT's but 8 DBs. I wonder if a 5'10" 165lbs DB is going to play on the line next year? Weber needs more lineman on both sides of the ball.

Good to hear that Wilcox from Syracuse will be playing OL next year and has a chance to play as a RFR.
