WSU All-Time Scorers update

Someone on here posted Weber State's all-time scoring list last season when Lillard was climbing the charts (before he got hurt). The athletics department asked me to compile all their stats for them and re-tally for any errors the former Media Relations Director may have made. Your last list was pretty close, but with a few errors.
This is the list you had...
Career Points
1. Bruce Collins 2,019 (4 yrs)
2. Jimmy DeGraffenried 1,624 (4 yrs)
3. Jermaine Boyette 1,613 (3 yrs)
4. Willie Sojourner 1,563 (3 yrs)
5. Jimmy Watts 1,553 (3 yrs)
6. Al Hamilton 1,452
7. Todd Harper 1,382
8. David Johnson 1,369
9. Harold Arceneaux 1,357
10. John Hamilton 1,240
11. Rico Washington 1,196
12. Richard Smith 1,158
13. Damian Lillard 1,150
14. Damien Baskerville 1,123
15. Randy Worster 1,117
16. Jerry Trice 1,116
17. Royal Edwards 1,094
18. Bob Davis 1,064
19. Greg Harrop 1,061
20. Al DeWitt 1,052
Stephan Bachmann 1,052
22. Jim Lyon 1,051
23. Lance Allred 1,021
24. Alex Fisher 1,012
25. Justus Thigpen 1,005

This is the updated list
Career Points
1. Bruce Collins 2,029 (4 yrs)
2. Jimmy DeGraffenried 1,624 (4 yrs)
3. Jermaine Boyette 1,613 (3 yrs)
4. Willie Sojourner 1,563 (3 yrs)
5. Jimmy Watts 1,553 (3 yrs)
6. Al Hamilton 1,452
7. Todd Harper 1,383
8. David Johnson 1,369
9. Harold Arceneaux 1,357
10. John Hamilton 1,240
11. Richard Smith 1,198
12. Rico Washington 1,196
13. Damian Lillard 1,150
14. Damien Baskerville 1,123
Randy Worster 1,123
16. Jerry Trice 1,116
17. Royal Edwards 1,094
18. Bob Davis 1,064
19. Greg Harrop 1,055
20. Al DeWitt 1,052
Stephan Bachmann 1,052
22. Jim Lyon 1,051
23. Alex Fisher 1,012
24. Justus Thigpen 1,005
25. Ruben Nembhard 999
26. Gene Visscher 985
27. Eddie Gill 919
28. Kyle Bullinger 899
29. Steve Panos 890
30. Robbie Johnson 889
31. David Patten 886
32. Lance Allred 831

A few notes:
Collins actually scored 2,029 in his career, not 2,019. ... Todd Harper scored 1,383, a mere one-point difference from the other list. ... Richard Smith actually scored 1,198, ranking him just above Rico Washington. ... Randy Worster scored 1,123, enough to tie him with Damien Baskerville for 14th all time. ... Greg Harrop scored 1,055, but still stays in the same spot. ... And the one that intrigues me the most, is Lance Allred. According to the stats binder WSU gave me, he only scored 831 career points. Not 1,021 as previously listed, dropping him to 32nd all time, not 23rd.

Also, Kyle Bullinger quietly climbed up to 28th last season and could possibly climb into WSU's top 10 by the end of his senior campaign next season. Kind of sucks that all has to go down under Lillard's shadow as he vaults up the list at the same time.

Talking about Fish has brought back a flood of great memories. I wonder, does anyone have access to the Preseason NIT game against Fresno in 96? I think the game was on ESPN. He went off, and Weber cruised to, I think, an 18pt road victory. Ahhh, the memories!

Nice work Hawkss on the list. It is good that these things are being cleaned up.

For sure. I'm currently working on some more extensive stats. The university never compiled all-time leaders in anything but scoring and rebounds. I'll try to update the rebounds list (although nobody in the past few years has cracked the top 20), and then I'll get going on stuff like assists, steals, blocked shots, free throws, etc...

Kinda tough though. Most schools didn't record stats like blocked shots until about 15 years ago.

 I hope Weber puts these records in an easy to find place on the web site. How about the football records? Any plans to review and clean them up?

Already done good sir. I spent six weeks updating and fixing those for the university, as well. Both the football and basketball stats are for this year's media guides, which WSU plans to put on its athletics website. They will not be printed in hard copies like in previous years (except the last 2-3 years where Brad simply didn't do them), but they will be available for everyone online. I believe Paul will have the football one up sometime in early to mid August.

They will not only be updated, some newer things are added, was well. I expanded many lists outside of only the top 10 for all-time marks. For example, it is now up to the top 50 in passing. There will also be a year-by-year list of season leaders, which wasn't available before. In basketball, I just finished completing an all-time roster, in addition to the statistics expansion, which I don't believe WSU had before.
