WSU, Big Sky Tourney History

The conference tournament started in 1975-76. The Big Sky was the 2nd ever DI conference to start having a conf tourney. Weber has only missed 2 of the total 39 tournaments.

37 WSU appearances
24, our longest streak and Big Sky record. 8 is our current streak
34 seminfinal appearances, 34/39=87%, 1976-83 there was no 1st rd or quarterfinal
15 championship appearances, 15/38=39%
8 championships (8/38=21%), record is 9, UM

Hmmm...x2 In as a 9 seed and playing in Boise. I don't remember that one well, but I do remember ditching high school to go over to the DEC and watch Virginia and NCSU (with all-tourney Big T Bailey) practice. Utah was also playing at the DEC that year. Utah and Utah St. in as well as 10s. Damn it would be fun to have the NCAAs at the DEC again.
