Should be a good game. Cal Poly is a little banged up and are sitting at 0-2 needing a win to turn around their season.

Cal Poly fumble away a win against Idaho, losing 20-13. They had 7 fumble and lost 4.

Cal Poly is a different team than last season. Last year they had one of the top defenses in I-AA, but their offense struggled. This year their offense is much more formidable and the defense is young and trying to find it's way.

What are your thoughts on the game?
 
My thoughts are that after WSU's pathetic showing against BSU, WSU better come out pissed off and ready to punch CalPoly in the mouth. I think it will be a great game, both teams should be plenty motivated to get a win. GOWILDCATS!!!
 
Amen, Weber better come out ready to play because I think they have a pretty good chance at winning this one. However I do think that it's going to be a tough fought game for both teams and will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes.
 
I feel that this will be the game that will best determine how this season is going to unfold for the Wildcats. Cal Poly are one of the best teams at our level. If we can hang with them we should be good against everybody else in our conference. We may have made a lot of mistakes in the BSU game, but the TD we did score was perfect. So I'm very hopeful. :)

I hope that you guys picking Weber are correct, but after what we saw at Boise, I'm somewhat less optimistic that some of you. I expect that the defense will be solid, but the offense still has to get going, kind of like last year. This game will tell us a lot about this crop of Cats. I'm expecting Cal Poly to win a close one. I certainly hope the Purple Posse proves me wrong. If Mr. Barnes and his boys can get the ball moving and score points like we all expect from an offence led by a top-5 QB, I'll be a happy camper.
