WSU Depth Chart

Anyone seen one? I know there was one poster who claimed to have seen on another thread. I guess we can always make our own.

I will say at QB it's
GREEN
CLARK

RB:
Bolen
Smith

WR:
Keyhano
Livingston

Please feel free to add on to this VERY limited 2 deep :thumb:

Here's my guess at the offensive starters:

QB - Green
RB - Smith
FB - Finai
WR - Kehano
WR - Livingston
TE - Kahawaii
OL - Land
OL - Hawkins
OL - Young
OL - Wilcox
OL - Turner

word is they are going to be running quite a few 2 TE sets. I'd look for Cody McKague as the "joker" TE.

QB: Green, Clark
RB: Bolen, Smith
TE: Kahawaii, Mckague
FB: Finai, Copeland
WR: Kehano, Livingston; Davis, Stribling
T: Turner, Wilcox; Cisneros, Oliverson
G: Hawkins, Young; Crichton, Brown?
C: Land; Bruce

Yeah, that poster was me. Sorry. Crazy week. Here's unofficial depth chart I have as of last Friday:

QB: Billy Green
RB: Zach Smith
WR: Cameron Livingston
WR: Shaydon Kehano
WR: Darryl Denby
TE: Helam Heimuli
LT: A.J. Wilcox
LG: Joe Hawkins
C: Alex Land
RG: Cameron Young
RT: Justin Turner

LE: Dustin Martin
DT: Connor Myerss
DT: McKay Murphy
RE: Obi Owoh
FLB: Felix Woods
MLB: Emmett Tela
BLB: Roman Valenzuela
LCB: Deon'tae Florence
FS: Josh Burton
SS: Tre'von Johnson
RCB: Cordero Dixon

PR: Bo Bolen
KR: Darryl Denby

KO/PK: Carson Fackrell
P: Blake O'Neill

Deseret News has a two-deep chart… I assume it is official. There are a few surprises on it for me.
OFFENSIVELY:
Zach Smith ahead of Bo Bolen @ RB
Helam Heimuli ahead of Jake Kahawaii @ TE
Freshman, Darryl Denby starting @ "Z"
Nothing on the offensive line is a surprise except possibly Tui Crichton #2 and not starting.
Not surprised at all that Carson Fackrell beat out Josh Kealamakia @ K.

DEFENSIVELY:
McKay Murphy ahead of Jake Gallegos is a mild surprise.
Emmitt Tila @ MLB
Felix Woods @ FLB (rover) is a big surprise.
Tyron Morris Edwards not starting @ S or CB, but backing both safeties.
Slightly surprised that Blake O'Neill is the Punter.

According to Weber's depth chart:

Batchelor will start at WR(z) instead of Denby
Gallegos will start over Murphy at DT
King will start over Valenzuela at BLB
Kehano will return punts instead of Denby
Bolen and Wilkes will return kickoffs
and Kealamakia will place kick.

Makes you wonder what happened to Denby.

Denby is dealing with a hamstring injury

Bummer deal! How long is Denby supposed to be out? He is a lot of fun to watch. I hope he gets better soon. The team will need him.

Losing Alema Key is a pretty big loss. He was one of the most talked about players coming out of Spring Ball. And with Luke King's history of injuries it kinds sucks knowing that the Cats, out of the gate, are already down a player. :?

What is with the Cat's Depth Chart and all of the OR's?

I like all of the options available. I think it is great for the Cats. Keeps opposing teams guessing. You don't know if you will have to face Bo or Zach. At any given time the offense can change and drastically too. Keep up the good work coaches! :thumb:
