Polls are great and proud that WSU is an overwhelming favorite....... BUT let's play the games and cheer all the way until the end of the season! Didn't the polls say that President Romney would be welcoming the Kentucky Basketball team to the White House as the 2013 National Champions?

Potential is a good thing but let's celebrate accomplishments!

Weber is a lot better in a, HOPEFULLY lol, improved Big Sky Conference.

Let's all hope that the Sky doesn't have 6 300 RPI teams again.

Improved:
Weber: Losing Gelaun, might have been the best thing for the Cats. Nothing against Wheels, just now it gives our two fresh more mins, and with mins comes development.
UND
Eastern (I know Olds has a problem with the Eagles. I hate the red field too Olds and think it is ridiculous).
MSU
NAU
ISU (they found lipstick for their pig...it is virtually a whole new team and they actually have a front-court)

About the same, sligh improvement:
UNCO: Depend a lot on Unruh and Barden
UM (Kemp and Mario Dunn are great gets and also they will have Riley Bradshaw after Christmas; but they lost sooo much from last year it is hard to even it out. Losing Ward and Ward was hard enough, but also losing Coleman, Henderson and now Wiley, the Grizz have a lot of work to do.)
Idaho: They got themselves a Glenn Dean...I know they join next year. Gotta start following them now.

Worse:
SUU
PSU
Sac: Veteto and Dickson created some serious matchup problems. Salley is a good player and their Fresh Stuteville, but neither are on the same level, yet, as Veteto and Dickson were.

My biggest knock on Eastern is the style of offence they employ. Their offence was a high screen and a dribble drive, hoping for a layup or a foul. They were very one dimensional. They played that way for one of two reasons, they only had two players they could count on, or that is their coaching style. Either way, I don't see them being any better than last year, unless something changes. So, my question is, what did they change?

I agree with everything else that has been said on this topic.

I wish I could share in the excitement some seem to have for the Idaho rejoining the BSC. They were my most disliked team then and they will be again. It's not a dislike from any kind of respect (i.e. how hard they play or quality of program) it's just a general dislike. In the day, I hated some of their prison teams and team warden. It will be a very sad day the next time Weber loses to them.
