Nice to knock off the #1 team in the BSC!
Odd game. What was it like 13 to 8 about half way through the first half?
Some thoughts:
- Really active hands on defense, especially in the first half of the game. Active hands that resulted in a lot of tipped balls. 18 turnovers was the result, and I think that this was a major factor in the outcome.
- Game ball goes to Wiggins. Dropped those two 3's late in the 2nd half, and oh, also hit 10/10 from the stripe.
- Hall's box score doesn't tell what he did tonight. Zero points, but he had four steals and was going up against size all night on defense. Another game ball goes to him.
- Winston struggled from the field, but knocked down 8/11 at the line.
- Kyle nearly had a double/double.
So we beat the number one team in the BSC late in conference play. Great. However, this probably should have been a pretty good beat down of WSU. WSU struggled early, but we didn't really hit on all cylinders all night long. Good to get the win.
