WSU QB Tyler Hilinksi commits suicide

Very sad news out of Pullman tonight. Projected 2018 starting QB Tyler Hilinksi took his own life. He led WSU to a comeback overtime win over Boise State this year, and he started in the Holiday Bowl. Thoughts are with the Cougar community tonight.

I was shocked when I first read this yesterday. I feel so sorry for Tyler, he must have been in such great mental anguish for some time, and I can not imagine how his parents and family feel now.

Absolute horrible. I hugged my daughter and son as soon as I heard the news. We talked about it. There is always help. Thoughts and prayers are with that family.
