WSU, NAU, & ISU all have 1 loss. MSU & UM both have 2 losses and after MSU started out 1-0 their fans were already talking about hosting.

WSU @ MSU, ISU @ UM - Thurs
ISU @ MSU - Sat
WSU @ UM - Sun - Altitude game

Weber is 0-2 this year playing games on Sunday (New Mexico & Northern Colorado).

UM was picked first in the media poll. After starting out 0-2 they got their first win beating Sac by 7 points.

Who is the best team this year? I'm not sure if their is one. NAU is looking good at 4-1 however, their 1 loss was a blowout loss at PSU.

Can a team get 12 wins this year?

Personally, I think NAU is the team to beat. Thankfully though NAU has never been very successful at protecting their home court. NAU fan support is pathetic. Their teams are always competitive and yet their attendance is always poor. Bad for them great for us. Montana has the talent, but I think their coach isn't very good. MSU is definitely a scary team; however, I think Weber matches up well with them as long as the Cats can keep Carlos Taylor contained. So far the best victory of the season has been against PSU. After NAU I think PSU is the toughest team. ISU will fade quickly and UNC will be in the tourny somewhere. I was fairly impressed with EWU, but Weber should be able to beat them at their place. Sacramento is well, how do I say this politely?? Not Good. But in their defense they have suffered a lot of injuries. However, their second teamers seem to be playing better than their starters. Hmmm weird.

Obviously we have a great record against the Big Sky in basketball, but the real question is which school is the biggest joke?

Suck State is the biggest joke, and for those of you who were wondering, Arnold, is or will be eligible soon, but he is NOT going to see play time. Coaches told me that he was a great scout team player.

gotta go with sack state. but for as good as they think they are, PSU has to be up there too. The numbers don't lie.

What do you all think the chances are of Weber Sweeping this week?? It's possible, but extremely difficult.

well considering our last 2 Montana sweeps were '99 and 2003, it will not be an easy task especially losing to UNC on the road. I don't doubt our team...but it is the toughest road trip of the year.

sac is a joke but im gonna go with the lumberjokes since they are 5-39 in ogden, i doubt portland state will be that bad after 44 games. now sac i guess will probably at that point be 1-43
haahahhhahhah

Big win tonight in Bozeman... The Cats played great tonight. There was a lot of intensity and enthusiasm on the court, I just wish that Weber would play with that much intensity and excitment every night. Oh well, lets see if we can overcome the Sabbath Curse. In my opinion, I really don't think Weber should play on Sunday's, but thats just me. Weber did tell the Sky that they didn't want to play on Sunday. Anyway, I will be mixing and matching my schedule around to be ready for game on Sunday. To my knowledge the only Sunday game Weber has ever won was at the Big Island Invitational against Colorado State.
Anyway, a win and the road sweep would be great. I'm cheering for MSU to beat ISU on Sunday. I don't want ISU to get anymore road confidence. They are at home next week and then play Weber on the 31st at the Dee. Should be a great next couple of weeks.

Montana State is a great team and I think that Idaho State will lose. Now, I had the opportunity of going up to potatoville and watching them play Washington State (on a Sunday and Trent Plaistead was at the game - the next week they lost to Boise State) and I wasn't really that impressed. Granted Wazzou was #5 at the time, but ISU didn't look very good. Even if they beat Montana State, Idaho State couldn't hang with Weber even if they tried. Sign up to go on that bus trip to ISU on Feb 2nd. It seems to be a bigger game than I thought it would be. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE MORE IN Mizzoula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best part was watching Montana State get their first home loss of the season! They were the only team left to lose at home...as for Big Sky play we'll see what WSU can do at home.

Weber, NAU, & PSU all still undefeated at home in league play - the 2 best teams.

Neither PSU nor NAU are, historically, adroit at protecting their homecourt. Last season Weber was able to beat both teams at their place. However, NAU is looking for some revenge. Next Friday night we host NAU. That game is going to be a huge game. We need to do all that we can to get a large crowd to the game. Lets Fill the Dee again. We'll need a loud and aggressive student section to be in attendance. However, the Cats need to take care of business. A win on Sunday and another next Wed against Sac will put Weber in a great position to repeat. Go CATS!!

Man what a finish, I thought we were toast when Tyler missed the front end of the 1 & 1. Way to "d" up at the end to pull out a sweep in Montana. Now we need to defend our home turf.

no wonder montana is 1-4 they shoot free thorws as bad as portland state. montana 11-25 on the game and we went 12-12 and with billings' 0-3 - 12-15 on the game. we're back! next 5 games 4 r at home. can you say 9-1!

Lets not get a head of ourselves. The Cats need to take care of business one game at a time. The best thing we can all do is go to the next five games, bringing as many people with us as we can. Our team feeds off of the fans! The next games are crucial. We definitely cannot over look Sac on Wed in anticipation to playing NAU on Friday. One game at a time. However, sweeping the Montana's is soooo sweet. The team is playing awesome right now.

Hey, we got Sac St on Wed, so...

WSU vs Sac St in Ogden: 13-1

It will be fun to see if Jenkins can have another melt-down in Ogden. I hope so, it was fun to watch last time. But they will beat you if you don't play well or are mentally prepared.

Dez Harris was just named Co-Player of the week by the Sky. He shares the honors with Delon from Eastern. He scored 42 against UNC at home in their otime win. Why didn't Davis get it the week prior to?
