WSU vs EWU "Eagles"

I am expecting a real good game in this one. I am already pumped up for Saturday and it has nothing to do with those 2 teams down south. I look for WSU's Offense to be on full display in this one and for the defense to come out with that HUGE chip on their shoulder that they have had most of the season.
WSU 42
EWU 28
In front of 10,000 plus fans.

Looking forward as well to this game against Weber. I think that the Eagles will be more than ready to challenge the Big Sky Champs. Our defense has been solid lately against the run and the d-line can get pressure on the QB. The EWU offense has struggled most of this season and has no running game. I hope that you guys can get a large crowd (10,000) because that will make an exciting atmosphere for EWU. EWU has played well in front of large crowds. Best of luck to the Wildcats and congratulations on winning at least a share of the Big Sky crown. Go Eagles!!!

This should be a better game than many may think. WSU seems to have few weaknesses while EWU has some glaring deficiencies. With that said EWU is very capable of putting up some points(at least use to be able too) and their defense has awakened. I believe they will put together a full game which should equate to a barn-burner...if we don't win I hope WSU smokes us good meaning they are indeed a team capable of making some serious noise come playoff time...I'll be rooting for you guys to be sure!

I am pretty jacked up for this game already!! We will have the biggest crowd of the season at this game. Plus there will be free t-shirts for the first 2,500 fans. Saturday can't get here fast enough. Bring all your friends, wear purple, bring your noise makers, and make as much freaking noise as you can!!
GO WILDCATS!!!!!!!!!

I'm stoked. gonna bring my one-year old and after the game we will rush the field together!

There are a few new blogs about how big this game is on WildCat Wall. www.weberhoops.com/wildcatwall

See ya'll Saturday!

All these Eagle fans might be a little too hopeful. This will just be another game like the one against NAU. NEE! We killed them after they beat all the CRAPPY teams and..... It still goes on. When will these beats take a dose of reality. This campus has never been this excited about football.

Mr. Wildcat you know that everyone on this forum, or hopefully, will be at the game. Both Bryce Scanlon and Ryan Galovic are going to get a group of people together after we win and they're going to rip down the goal post. Word had it they're going to throw it off the stadium that night. Yee uh! I doubt it happens!

Rip down the goal post huh, I don't think WSU could get it set back up in time for next weeks playoff game... 4 seed or higher.

GO CATS!!!

Me and my crew will be there and I secured tickets for almost 20 other people. So, who else is bringing a lot of people?

I heard that Paul the cop will be following PURPLEFOGDOG around during the entire game making sure that he wont rush the field. By the way, wouldn't you need students to pull down the goal posts? I don't think the 20 or so can do it.

Twenty is a little steep, don't you think!

Today was a tough day for WSU fans, we had two tough losses with the Football and Basketball teams on the cusp of pulling out victories. But as I have said before this is a team of destiny, we hit a roadbump today but starting next week is when it really matters in our quest for a National Championship. I am hoping that the team is able to learn from this loss, re-group, and take care of business next Saturday.

Good luck 'Cats tomorrow night.

Congrats to the Eagles! :)

Their quarterback is the real deal, and they deserved the win.

Onward and upward to the playoffs! 8-)

WSU is a better team than EWU...turnover bug got you just as it has to us in many a game this season. You've already proven you are better than UM. Beat a tuff Cal Poly team and you have a great chance to make it all the way and I for one will be watching/rooting for you guys every play of every game. Represent the BSC!!

You are a classey guy EWU1!! Thanks for your support... I hope the Cats go down to Cal Poly and prove that the Great West is just a bunch of glorified FCS Independents (I hope at some point Cal Poly and SUU are Sky members). Anyway, Eastern Washington came out and was ready to play. The Eags took it to the Cats right away, while it took Weber a couple of quarters to get focused. I'd love nothing more than to beat Cal Poly and then go to Missula and beat the Griz... I am pissed though about all three Western teams being in the same bracket. Total BS!!! Oh well...

EWU1, good luck this season in BBALL, its starting to look like Earlywine has assembled a pretty good team. I can't wait to play ya... for a few years Weber and Eastern had a pretty good rivalry going in basketball.
