Hello all,

I frequently read these forums and I thought I'd post this here. I'm starting up a blog this season covering women's basketball in the Big Sky Conference. If you all don't mind I thought I'd put up links to posts I write that are about Weber State's women's basketball team for those that are interested.

My first two posts happen to both be related to the Wildcats. First, I have a recap of what I saw from watching the women's Purple and White game:

https://bscwomensbasketball.wordpress.com/2016/10/19/weber-state-purple-white-scrimmage-promise-shown-by-freshmen-and-lone-senior/

And then I just wrote up a short post about some of last year's seniors in the conference that are playing professionally overseas, and one of the highlighted players is Brittney Dunbar:

https://bscwomensbasketball.wordpress.com/2016/10/21/where-are-they-now-six-of-last-seasons-seniors-continue-their-careers-overseas/

I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who is interested, and if there is no interest in these posts just let me know and I won't put any more up.

Thanks. It's nice to hear that our ladies are finding spots on pro teams and doing well.

Also, it is hard to tell a lot from an inter squad scrimmage. The one thing I took from it was that Weber is bigger and a bit deeper than last year. Last year, for extended periods of time, the Wildcats were playing 5 guards with one or two subs. We had no centers and few healthy forwards. It looks like a much better mix this year. If it will translate into wins...., we will see.

Hi all. Meant to share this yesterday but life got in the way. Here's a recap of all the Big Sky Conference women's basketball games from Friday, including Weber State's win over CSU San Bernadino

I also wanted to take a moment and promote the Facebook page, where I plan on sharing new posts and posting live updates on games I'm able to watch.

Our women play Portland Saturday at 2:00 PM. This should be a good game. We have only lost one game this year and that one was in OT.
