NO FIRE, NO ENTHUSIASM, and they sure as hell don't play as a team. O-Coordinator should be FIRED. That was THE WORST play calling I have seen in a long time. TOO DAMN CONSERVATIVE. Good HELL they suck!

Harsh, but true to a certain extent. That terrible safety call on Gooden's interception changed the game and WSU never recovered. Offensively, they were completely stagnant in the second half and I agree, the play calling had a lot to do with it.

Once again, penalties killed WSU on both sides of the ball. I don't think I've ever seen a defensive line get flagged for offsides so much in a two-week span. That's on the defensive coordinators. They should have shored that up after the ISU game.

Seems as if the whole team got complacent from a big win last week. If they look anything like that next week against Montana, they can expect to extend their losing tradition in Missoula. :doh:

What happened in the 2nd half? Play calling was horrendous at best. Don't blame the refs, they were not playing on the field.

Coach Mac has to find some new coordinators. No way you can have that much talent on the field with so little to show for it. I'm not saying we have to fire these young coaches, but he's got a rollodex full of premium coaches that could tear the Big Sky a new one. Is it basketball season yet?

That sucked. Letting them start inside the 5 yard line twice! Then being able to hold them to a field goal and committing a penalty on the kick to give them a whole new set of downs! Also the safety was crazy. I was all excited that we got the interception, only to give them 2 points and the ball back. Possibly the worst play on an interception that I've ever seen in my life. Terrible.

First...4 terrible calls pratically gave SUU 12 points. 1. Incomplete/bobbled pass inside the 10 yard line. Caught outside and bobbled. It was third down for the T-Birds. Huge conversion, and a very timely one at that. 2. The Saftety that wasn't. 3. Incomplete pass that ended up being a fumble 4. Personal Foul penalty. According to the rules, on that sort of play, that specific penalty is enforced on the ensuing kickoff. SUU never should have scored their last TD. Total BS!!

Second...WAY TO MANY PENALTIES. This team has absoutely no discipline.

Third...poor game plan and execution. No imagination in the play calling, I know the play book is bigger than what they are currently running. Is this a team or Coordinator issue? Does the team not know the plays, or is the OC a complete idiot? To me at the end, it looked like a little of both. A two year starting OL totally misses two consecutive blocks leading to a intentional grounding and a game ending sack.

Fourth...GET ONE FUDGING DC. This two DC Shit has got to end. Swan and Cookus share a brain cell. Neither are capable of running a NCAA defense. They are both decent position coaches, but a decent position coach (not good) should not be in charge of any overall defensive scheme.

Finally...What was with our special teams? Oh yeah...cookus.

I totally agree with your post. This team CAN and SHOULD get a whole lot better, but not with the coordinators holding them down. Superior talent + below average coordinators = Average.

The refs sucked, but they were not the determining factor. Weber lacked fire and intensity and SUU had plenty of it. Better find it soon or the season will be over.

How the hell can you be laughing and joking going into the locker room after the game.... you know who you were, and why did everyone get pissed off at the player that went after those guys.....if you're laughing and joking after a loss, turn you gear in and join the cheerleaders...... we need guys who leave it on the field and will DEFEND their House....... zero tolerance for lazy arse wannabe's....... enough is enough......

Don't know if this far into the season you can make any excuses for team being "young" anymore, but it Is pretty crazy. On offense, only senior starters are Oram, Turner and Raught. Of course Hoke is a Junior, but this is first year starting. Top RBs are: Booker (So), Hinds (Fr), Collins (Fr). Top receivers (other than Raught) are: Johnson (RFr), Kehano (So), Clemente (So), Shufford (Fr). Defense has Seniors Webb and Neal, and Juniors Eastman, Caldwell and Pletcher, but the following start or play alot: Morales (So), Marciel (So), Diamond (So), Epperson (So), Okwuono (So), Cosgrove (So), Mullarkey (So), Pugh (RFr), King (F), Rigby (RFr) - and I think Washington (fr) and Meyers (fr) are playing too.
