so after all that has gone on with the posts earlier in the week i have one question.... WHAT THE HECK???? where was the cheering tonight? the section was decent we werent all that loud and the team needed us. we had a ton of students in the section but the chants died out quick and at points where weak. so i want to know what do the other students in the section want to do differently to get the crowd going
 
I have decided why people some people aren't happy with the student section. Because our student section was so loud and charged during USU that expections we set so high. Having a great student section is almost always an up hill battle. I have been to USU, BYU and Utah games and at any given moment the majority of students aren't cheering. We should be proud of what we have. Yes it would be nice to have it bigger and louder but its kicks the crap out of 95% of mid-major teams. I thought they were pretty loud tonight myself.
 
i know this section can get loud at a conference game. the usu game didnt set any bar for me cause i understand that we wont be that loud every game. it just sucks as one of the people that tries to start cheers and they die out after 2 seconds like no one wants to cheer
