You down with NIT? Yeah you know me!

According to most of the NIT sites, we're not even in :/ But the guy on NIT-ology (the most well-known NIT prediction blog) says we're a 5 seed traveling to UCF.

we're not in...

Yeah... The field looks pretty solid... I think WSU should have fit in nicely.. Im not too sure how UT-Arlington got in.. We beat them and we have a higher rpi. We also beat them head to head... I don't know... :bad:

Texas-Arlington gets the Auto for winning the Southland.

It's time to forget this disaster of a season.

6 losses & can't get into the NIT......

Yeah I just remembered about them winning their conference. I wouldn't mind a home game again. I would love to see Lillard suit up for another home game...

Well that is a bummer they're not in... was looking forward to seeing them at least one more time...

Home game versus UVU in the CIT if the Twitter and other online rumors are accurate...

If Dame's latest tweet is any indication, then he is pissed:

"No NIT? #slapintheface. 24-6 overall / 14-2 in league."

Rightfully so. Weber got screwed. If I was him I'd go ape #@&% on any team we play

Quite the snub there...

Bunch of bullshit if you ask me that teams like Seton Hall, Minnesota, Mississippi State, etc gets in over Weber... Hell it's bullshit that Seton Hall is even in the post season.. if you can't finish above .500 in your conference you should be watching at home no matter what conference you are in.

How does this happen? Weber has a better RPI than THREE of the four 1 seeds in the NIT, and two of the four 2 seeds in the NIT...and gets left out? Yet teams like Minnesota (19-14, 7-13) RPI: 89 get in..

Wow...

Weber (22-6, 15-3) RPI: 67

Hopefully this is a joke.

These things are ridiculous, the CIT is one notch below the stupid CBI

I like the opportunity to play UVU... Nothing prestigious about it, however, it gives a chance to go 4-1 vs. instate teams.. I also like the chance to enter the Dee again and see the seniors and Dame put on a beat down!!!  :-D :-D

The tweet from Dame makes me wonder if this anger will be enough to keep him at WSU on more year... He wants the respect, and he deserves it. I am selfish and want Dame to come back, get his team to 30 wins to the sweet 16.... Thats what I feel...

Not to defend Montana, but this same thing happened to the Griz last year, lost to UNC in the conference, had been teh 2nd place team in BSC and get ignored by the NIT, played in the CBI like the Cats.
The CIT is mostly mid-major teams, has TV coverage ( on Fox college sports I think) and is a chance to play....Cat fans need to get out and support the team. A lot of teams are sitting home with no chance to go anywhere....

a possible 2nd round match up with Utah State. :-D

Playing uvu and then possibly Utah state? Does no one have money to travel in this tournament.. I am still boggled as to how we dropped this far but dame is right this is a huge slap in The face. I love the kid but this just shows he needs to get out while its hot and hit the NBA. He won't get any respect from anyone in The college world just because Weber state is by his name. The NBA scouts have seen him and want him. I say strike while the iron is hot.

No NIT is a slap in the face to these players, but if a CIT home game is what we get with the potential to have more than thats fine, one more chance to watch my Cats in action is worth it.

I hope these Wildcats are pissed, and come out and BLAST UVU away.

I don't know what the mind set of the guys might be. However, if it was me in their shoes, I'd be one pizzed off dude. They can either take it out on themselves or their next foe. They can look at it as the culmination of a good, but disapointing, year, or the start of the next good, possibly great, year. The end of something or the beginning of something. We can play like we have during the year end collapse or get back to the, I've got something to prove, edge they had earlier in the season. :twocents:
