...that the unmentionable school down 99 has been slapped with a Notice of Infractions, delineating ten major NCAA infractions stemming from the basketball and baseball teams from 2011 until this year. The allegations were generally self-reported, but the then-basketball HC refused to cooperate with NCAA investigators. Mainly, it involved proctoring tests and providing answers for online courses at other schools, including Idaho, where the then-HC's brother was also a basketball coach.
This was essentially a basketball "thing," but baseball somehow got involved when those answers from a Finite Math course were provided to a baseball player. Neither HC is still at UOP; the hoops HC was fired, and the baseball coach (I think) retired. I could be wrong about that one, though.
I kinda "get" all that, but I also take umbrage with the NCAA's idea of trying to concoct a "pattern of misconduct" based on something that took place all the way back in 1991. What the heck is THAT?!?
