• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Many of us have a daily routine of surfing, what's yours?

Mine:

Newspapers (from places I've lived or live): Idaho State Journal, Idaho Statesman, Bangor Daily News, Salt Lake Tribune.

Sports boards (those I'm an alum of): Bengalden, Bronco Country, Any Given Saturday (for some national flair).

Job boards (I'm still years out from looking for a job): usa jobs, american fisheries society, north american benthological society.

1... I look at the Ada County Jail website. It's kinda fun to see if you know anyone arrested in the past 24 hours. I'm often surprised to see who's there.

2... I look at the Bengal board.

3... I look at BroncoCountry.com

4... I look at the Idahostatesman.com - Traffic

5... KTVB.com - Scott Slant, Traffic

That's kind of funny, however, I would be afraid to look.

I've seen classmates from Idaho Falls, my kids' classmates, employees and ex-employees and/or members of their families... The condition of some of those people when their mug shot is taken is often times pretty funny.

I always hit the daily paper every morning. My son and i are up and eating and reading the paper together. Well he can't read but he is up with me and he is looking for the sports section and saying "ball-ball-ball" No lie. He is 1.5 years old. I am glad he has those sports moments like me. Everyday. I also read the police blotter everyday. It is amazing who is in there. Speaking of todays paper? Our athletes need to keep themselves out if they can.

I remember those days... I took my son to Boise Hawks (Anaheim affiliate at the time) games, BSU football and basketball games. The cheerleaders knew him and would take him to the field or to courtside. He loved it. I helped with his tee ball, little league, Optimist Football team and youth basketball teams. I wouldn't trade those times for all of the money in the world. We also went fishing a whole lot. I had my Panther Martin lures and my son with a 6' piece of fishing line tied to the end of his fishing pole with a red/white bobber on the end. I would cast and reel, so would he. All great times.

But, they grow up and move away. It makes me sad sometimes. But, my wife an I so proud the way our two kids live their lives. Caring and compasionate to others. Standup adults, those two. I hope the same to you.

It sounds like you were good parents and still are. That is neat. I remember my dad taking me to the minidome and i still remember the smell of the turf and the dome. It was so exciting as a kid to go to those games.
