Bengal men fall again on the road.... and it doesn't make a sound.

Little enthusiasm for the MEN'S basketball team it seems.

Not a single post, despite playing Creighton well on the road. :?

They get throttled by Utah St. and barely win against a terrible Troy team. I am not impressed with the hoops team at all. I hope Obrien has gone away with the Bobby Knight mentality? It doesn't work and your players will always play scared and up tight. Has anyone seen his style this year?

I've had my fill of O'Brien and his "style" just listening to the men's game last night & other games this season and seeing and hearing him in action in the seasons past.Listening to the game commentary, it sounds like the same old O'Brien team story season after season- only with a few different names on the roster.

If O'Brien is replaced it won't be soon enough and that would be a good thing for ISU men's basketball. Of course, throwing stuff from the bench and his growling and generally abrasive style will really be missed - NOT!
As far as the Bobby Knight mentality - it's OK (maybe) for Bobby Knight but for Joe O'Brien - yeah right. :o

We were on on the way home from watching the women's team and I would rather watch them any day of the week. Seton and the women are a breath of fresh air in the world of ISU b-ball. They play with heart and determination and they seem to be having fun out there. Can't help but believe that the coaching has a big influence on that.

These attributes are and have been sorely lacking in O'Brien's tenure. Can't wait for his next "positive" assessment of his players in a post game interview or a public ass chewing as he subs players.

What a freakin' jamoke!
