Re: Scheduling Issue

Well, so much for those early season Tuesday night games in Eugene. We've only been under 175 once in the past five seasons. It'd be nice to see an exception for programs that are geographically close to schedule weekday non-conference games, but I do get that when you're a power five conference tha...

Re: Michael Nuga

I liked his energy as well, that's too bad.

Doesn't look to be a negative separation from one of his latest tweet if we want to believe what's out there on social media.

Re: PSU, UP men's basketball going in different directions?

I'd say they are. I was pretty surprised that they didn't run Porter out of there after going 0'fer in conference play. Heck, we canned Geving after a 7-11 conference record. One would think that a booster or two would step up after an 0-16 conference record and pony up the funds to make a coaching ...

I guess I hadn't heard that Fish lost his 29-year old daughter just over a month ago.

Very sad.

Re: On to tournament

Nice job ladies!

I was watching the live stats while on a work call and thought we'd come up a bit short with like five minutes to go. Great comeback!

Re: Conference tournament

This game kind of summed up much of this season. Out rebound the other team by 18, take 14 more field goal attempts, block 9 shots, and go home with a loss. :-\

Now... here comes Idaho. Here's hoping PSU takes a bit of a different approach compared to two weeks ago.
Up 18 with a minute or so to go.

Great win!

Up 12 with :39 to go. I'm going to call that a win.

Great start to the tourney!

Re: UM / MSU @ PSU

A win is a win. Not our best, but we took care of the ball and knocked down some three balls. The officiating was some of the worst I've seen all year, especially in the second half. Really lucky to get out with a win considering four of our starters had four fouls. We did have some pretty stupid fo...

Re: UM / MSU @ PSU

Good win. Goes to show you when we limit our turnovers, out rebound and knock down free throws, the sky is the limit. Man, Nuhu is on a roll with three double-doubles in the last four games. The students (many student athletes) were awesome last night. Way to drown out any "lets go defense" by the G...

UM / MSU @ PSU

Sure would be nice to keep our solid play going with a couple of wins going into the tourney. Other than losing on a buzzer beater yesterday, we've looked fairly good over the past six games.

Will Moses Finau be eligible to play right away because of Humbolt State dropping football or will he have to sit out a year?
He won't have to sit out.

Southern Utah

Considering we played like garbage for the first 25% of the game, a nine point win is nice. Pretty solid shooting all around in the second half. #15 for SUU had probably the shortest shorts of the season thus far.

Re: 2019 Football schedule

Portland State's athletics website now shows the Vikings' 2019 football schedule. It includes a home game on September 21st against Eastern Oregon, giving the team a 12 game schedule with 6 home games. Still no game on November 16th, contrary to Sacramento State's just announced schedule, which inc...

Re: Redshirt rules

I still think that four games is kind of a drastic change, but the rule did need to be changed, and it applies to all, so the field seems level. Very nice to be able to get some true freshman kids that show a lot of promise in fall camp some meaningful minutes at the speed they're going to be playin...

Re: 2019 Recruiting Thread

I know it's just a ranking site on the Internet, but we're still looking pretty good in the eyes of 24/7.

1st in the Big Sky (last year 8th)
111th nationally (last year 189th)
