Total: 51

Upperclassmen: 38
Sophomore: 14
Total: 52

Re: Voice of the Vikings

I can't see him going from the NBA to the Big Sky, but stranger things have happened.

Naturally, we'd need to have Mike Rice come in for color commentary as well.

Imagine Rice on the mic watching Big Sky officials. He'd lead the league in ejections. :-)

We're tucked in between a trip for them to the Bahamas and playing Kansas.

Upset alert.

Re: 2018 Football schedule

A few comments on our second game of the 2018 season: https://247sports.com/college/oregon/Article/Oregon-Ducks-Football-Portland-State-118812942 "The Vikings would go on to lose all 12 games in 2017 and shake up their coaching staff with a new defensive coordinator in 2018." Apparently we played 1...

Re: 2018 Football schedule

So, does anyone on this board know if PSU football is even mentioned in the agreement between the the City and Peregrine Sports regarding the operation of Providence Park? Also, does anyone on this board have knowledge of the language in the agreement between Peregrine Sports and Portland State reg...

Come on Oregonian, is it that hard to mention that he played at PSU?

Re: 2018 Football schedule

I'm glad that there finally seems to be some bitterness towards the Timbers on this. I've been fed up with them for two years now, as you all know. I'm seeing less bitterness here than we did from the two dozen AAA baseball fans 10 years ago. You should be seeing less bitterness. PSU football doesn...

But really, what else is there to do in Missoula when it isn't football season?
In addition to assault, there's also drunk driving. There's just not enough hours in a day for a Montana football player to get everything done.

This is getting ridiculous. https://www.timbers.com/post/2018/05/05/providence-park-host-2018-nwsl-championship-match-sept-22-2018 We are scheduled for a home game against Montana State that day. Obviously the soccer folk don't care. :ohno: And for what? To host the women's championship? Come on! :...

Re: Spring Game

I had to leave early, so I only caught about 30-50% of the game and didn't get a chance to make it out for any of the scrimmages this spring.

Is it just me, or is pass protection a bit of an issue right now? Our QBs seemed to have the happy feet after about 2-3 seconds.

Agreed 100%. Well, other than the two Sac State losses. I'll get over that at some point.

Not sure about our center taking the last shot of the game for a three. Open, yes, high percentage play, no.

Re: Realignment Du Jour

All conference football teams, even Portland State, have been to the level of Montana and in some cases have exceeded the level that Montana is at. There is no domination by Montana in the Big Sky. Usually I just sit back and let you guys go at it, but I have to disagree with your statement. Uh, di...

Re: Next year

Size may be an issue, but I think it'll be interesting to see how Rumel looks next season. His only meaningful minutes were against Willamette and Portland Bible, so it's hard to tell how he would have looked later in the season against D1 programs. His injury this season was really unfortunate in ...
