Re: Idaho State/Weber

A bit of an ugly win, but I’ll take it. Some notes: - Our zone was getting torched in the first half. Tons of open looks for ISU, that to their credit, they knocked down. I think they hit their first nine field goals or so. - There was some real sloppy play last night. Those lazy top of the key pass...

Re: Montana State/Montana

I had to travel all week, so I missed both games. Grrr.

Would have been nice to get a sweep.

57 total fouls in the UM game? Wow.

Re: Mid-Major Top 25 Poll

Butler beating #1 Nova should help us in the mid-major if we can take care of business tonight.

Re: Conference taking notice

Wow, 74 non-conference wins for programs in the Big Sky.

If nothing else, we should see some quality basketball this season.

Re: Sac State

"SR F Traylin Farris has now missed seven games this season due to an ankle sprain. He is expected to return against Sacramento State."

Farris and Tucker. Oh my. I think the last time these guys were on the court together was early last season against Pepperdine.

Northern Colorado (16) and Idaho (4) picked up some votes as well.

Re: Cal Bears

- Man, Boo Boo is impressive. Double-double with 13 assists and only one turnover. Can't ask for much more at the point. - Tucker!!!!!!!!! Now we just need Farris back. Seeing Farris (and Rumel) jumping around after Edwards' put-back dunk, and the fact that we don't play again until next Sunday mak...

Re: Cal Bears

What a great way to finish up non-conference play. Some thoughts: - Edwards had an interesting stat line. 14 minutes, 7 blocks, 5 fouls, and 9 points. Oh, and the reaction of the PSU bench on that put-back dunk was one of the greatest moments of the season so far, and yes, we've had some great momen...

Re: 2018 Recruiting Thread

Is only three early signings for us concerning?

Some other BSC programs:

Eastern Washington: 7
Montana: 15
Montana State: 16
Idaho: 12
Idaho State: 6

Re: Time To Flip And Look At The Big West

And as an aside to Sac State's arena proposal, the Nest is even smaller than the old Stott Center (seems strange to refer to Stott Center as "old" but I guess that is the case now). With PSU opening up the Pavilion, Sac State needed to do something about it. I went there almost 10 years ago. The at...

Re: Linfield

I couldn't make it out today, but caught some of the second half online. Some thoughts: - Chalupas again at home - Too bad Canda couldn't get that last assist for the triple double. Nice game for him. He's 16th in steals in the nation by the way. - Edwards seemed effective down low against a smaller...

Re: Linfield

Might we go four for four with Chalupas at the Pamplin Sports Center tomorrow?

"Indefinitely" is not a good word with Rumel's injury. I'd rather see Farris sit against Cal as well if it means he may make the conference opener.

I was trying to tell a story in response to both of you. I've listened to this kind of stuff for years. Kind of a context. Now... did you find that data on a web page? It'd be interesting to see the breakdown. Here is the link to the 2014 report to the NCAA: https://www.chronicle.com/interactives/n...

Re: Ducks

Sounds like probably no Farris or Rumel on Wednesday. This will be a tough game not at 100% for sure.

To be honest, I'd take 1-2 over the next three to enter conference play as healthy as possible on the 30th. Oh, and 2-1 would be nice. :-)
