Hired by BYU as Safeties coach.
As Weber State fans, I guess we should be flattered. BYU is hiring up our assistants (that makes three). Hadley did a great job while he was here. There are a lot of really good young coaches out there. I'm sure that Coach Hill will find some more.

Wow...LOTS OF INTEREST HERE! I'm guessing we are all in total awe of the new motion offense! You guys know, the one where there is no motion, a lot of standing around watching, and chucking 3's. Maybe that is what Coach should call it, the new stand around and chuck up 3's offense. Oh yes, and...

Re: UNCO/UND Roadie

Ugh...there isn't a lot that can be said about this one. UND has our number right now. They totally shredded our defense. Granted, they did just have the best shooting night of their season today and Weber, even though we scored 79 and looked about as good as we did against ISU. We just aren't that ...

Re: UNCO/UND Roadie

Wow what a lock down second half. We were able to wear them down inside and get trips to the line. Doc it's growing up quick. Is there a bigger homer commentary guy than Troy Coverdale? He was hard to listen to tonight. Uh...a little shocked about last nights result. The second half was awesome. Sh...

It's been pretty quiet on any O.C. potential replacements. Anyone have any ideas, or see anyone coming on campus?
Somewhat curious as well. Very quite up at the stadium right now.

Re: Donatas Kupsas

You guys are funny, thanks for the entertainment. Since I got called out to come and comment more, here goes. Excited about Donatas Kupsas, a great signing for Weber. He brings the toughness that Randy Rahe values so highly. Although I grew up in Idaho (not on a potato farm :-), I don't know Jared ...

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

North Dakota wasn’t the sole reason for going to a neutral site. The biggest drivers were costs and logistics. Coaches wanted every team to participate. In order to better accommodate that, the league wanted a pre-determined site so that all schools could make travel arrangements in advance and get...

UNCO/UND Roadie

Well...the Cats are leaving the state for the first time in over a month. To me, due to the distance and weather, this is a tough road trip for the Cats. Tomorrow night they open the trip at the good old buttler-hancock pavilion on the campus of UNCO. I'm sure there will be a decent contingent of We...

Re: Donatas Kupsas

I really like this kid and this class. There is a lot of balance. 2 are guards and 2 are bigs. However, they are players who have strengths in different areas. It is a nice problem to have when you have players who can contribute immediately coming into your program. It is kinda tough, but regrettab...

Re: Final Polls

To me, Weber is the 3rd best team in the country. Neither SDSU or Sam Houston did much in the Semi to convince me they are better. Regardless, really awesome seeing the Cats that high in the final poll. Congrats to Coach Hill and his kids. They deserve all the accolades they are getting!

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

reNo has got to be the worst thing to have happened to Weber State Basketball ever. By taking away the excitement of the conference season you've lost the drive for hundreds of fans to go to conference games. From what I heard it was pushed by most of the conference teams because they were sick of h...

Re: New Commit:Donatas Kupsas

Welcome to Weber State! I've been trying to find stats from his seasons at Long Island. So far, I haven't been able to find much. He looks like he is a big who can move. The highlight videos I've watched don't really show him shooting a lot from outside, but from them you get a decent feel for his r...

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

Just as a reminder, but the reNO catastrophe was pushed by the conference not by the school, department or program (even though I feel that Rahe condoned it. Something like shooting yourself in the foot with the hope of running faster). However, I think the conference was able to get Weber to vote f...

Re: Northern Arizona

Well...the boys came out and thoroughly kicked the crap out of NAU. I think this might be the end of the road for Murphy. That Lumberjack team isn't very good. Regardless, there were a lot of doubts about our Cats, and Weber showed up to play and played hard. They have to do that every night. I know...

Re: Northern Arizona

Bovee is the head man right? If there are issues he is the one who needs to be questioned. Okay?!? And this has what to do with the NAU game tonight? Last I checked Jerry, thankfully, isn't suiting up for the Cats. But, in the spirit of the conversation, I'll bite. Are there administrative issues? ...

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

Randy has been a good coach for Weber State. He is a man of high character and integrity and expects the same from his athletes. While coach, there have been some truly talented kids come into the program. He is a great recruiter. That is the truth. The best ever? Well, McCarthy, Motta, and Johnson ...

Re: Northern Arizona

Ugh...since last Saturday I have been dreading tonight. I'm worried about how our team will react to the home loss to ISU, and how hard they will play. Also, I'm not super excited to have to listen to the absolutely obnoxious promotions guy. Hearing his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. To me, th...

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

For me, this is the least excitement I have had for Weber State Basketball since the Joe Craven's era. I'm not necessarily bored with Randy Rahe Basketball. We all know, with the right players, his system can be dynamite. And, in his defense, he did make changes to his system this season. I can defi...

Re: Excitement Level for Basketball

Good conversation happening here. There are definite pros and cons with Coach and his program. And there isn't much that I can't add to what has already been said. Personally, I really like Randy. He isn't anything flashy. What you see is what you get and, at the Big Sky level, he's a highly success...

Congratulations to Fesi. That's great for him and his career. Money talks...well, and the chance to coach with family and Steve Clark again lol. I wish him only the best. He deserves it, even though it is byU. Me...I wouldn't have gone. Security is more important than money. But, he's leaving to bec...
