Re: Lindys has Harding 2nd team all BSC

Blue Ribbon tidbits..Sac st. Katz not a lot of difference between top ten teams. UNC coach Linder Davis will be won of top point guards in the west if not the country and ASU transfer Spight is as good od scorer as there is in college basketball.. Rahe expects Weber to be very competitive in a very...

Re: New Wildcat Club Director

I am questioning why employ an undocumented immigrant from south of the Weber County border, when you could walk down Washington Blvd. blindfolded and find a better candidate. He better have come with $30,000,000.00 worth of additional donations in his pocket, or he is set up to be a failure. Did w...

Re: New Wildcat Club Director

OK Oldrunner, other than that, tell us how you really feel about the Wildcat Club! Sorry if you applied & didn't get picked?! Let AD Bovee know how all things, athletics wise, should be run. You seem to have answers on all things (right or wrong!). Hey, my post is simply on 'Other Topics' & go...

Re: New Wildcat Club Director

Per office call, Becky Thompson has changed jobs to become a special events coordinator, therefore creating an opening in the Director's job. Dawes has a great background in the areas of fundraising, etc. Good Luck to him in his new assignment. :coffee:

New Wildcat Club Director

Welcome to Derek Dawes, formerly associate AD at Dixie State, who also played center for BYU's basketball team (at 6' 11" why not...so now will change that bleeding blue/red to bleeding purple !) . Hey, some new blood running the Wildcat Club, best wishes in runining an important part of Wildcat ath...

Re: Big Sky Tournament Moving?

I'm sure that the attendance will double in Boise . Is that enough? I really don't know. Next time they review or reconsider sites, they should think about all of the options. They should consider not having a tournament, having a smaller affair, or any other option that may come to their minds. I'...

Re: Big Sky Tournament Moving?

the only reason those of us who went to reno didn't call it a blunder was because we all enjoyed the casinos all day and night when weber wasn't playing. most of us didn't even attend the other games. boise doesn't seem like a good idea. it would just be a more boring version of reno. i see n...

Re: Big Sky Kickoff - Skyline Sports

Just based off the polls, I think a 7 or 8 win season is definitely possible. No games vs UND (picked 1st), NAU (picked 3rd), or UNC (picked 9th & 10th). MT Western (Win) @ Cal (Loss) @ Sac St (Non-Conf), picked 12th (Win) UC Davis, 11th (Win) @ Montana St, 8th (Win/Loss) So Utah, 7th (Win/Loss) @ ...

Re: Street and Smith 2017 Big Sky football prediction

Glad to see that Street & Smith's College Football magazine is back after some absence...always enjoyed it the most in past years, simply because it had pretty good coverage for the FCSers as well. Lindy's is another one. May it's football preview picks come true, at least for the Wildcats of Weber ...

QB - Cantwell likely starter, Shaw backup...yeah, it's way early but interesting specul...

Re: CIT Tournament 2017

Fans who can afford to go, enjoy! CIT Website shows somewhat confused schedule: Idaho @ Texas St. on Sunday @ 6pm then shows Weber St. @ Texas A&M Corpus Christi Monday (no time) but re-lists the Idaho game @ 6pm. Slight mistake, but assuming it's the Weber game time. Last night enjoyed a short clip...

Re: NCAA - SLC

North Dakota competed well at times with the Arizona version of Wildcats but couldn't quite keep up to their fast guards & bigs, lose by 18.

So far, BSC is 2-2 in post season national tourneys with the 2 CIT winners Weber St. & Idaho...will they meet up next?? :coffee:

Re: CIT Tournament 2017

In fairness, didn't mention that the Weber St -- Cal Fullerton game is listed under a special 'Riley Wallace Classic' title , meaning that it may have been planned without the opponent for Fullerton picked yet..." the CIT introduces the (2-3 named classics listed), which will be played in the 1st Ro...

Wow how did idaho get a home game and we have to go on the road
Good question, but it does say that after the 1st round, the next game for the winners will be determined with whatever wizardry they use...meaning if a Wildcat win, could possibly be a home game in 2nd round.
