• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

All Big Sky Conference Teams

We had 14 players on the all conference teams this year! Huge congrats to everyone honored. That work you guys did in the summer paid off with a winning season, let's keep it going!

Holland should've been honored IMO. He was 2nd in the conference in tackles. 44 solo, 57 assist, 101 total at 9.2 avg per game and 2 sacks. Offense all around looks pretty good with all teams and picks, but defensive picks were head scratchers, especially POTY.

There are some posters here that have stated that ISU's offense played terribly against Weber and could have played much better. But I don't that many here realize how good their defense is. Weber had nine first-team Big Sky selections, including three d-lineman, two linebackers, and two safeties and one cornerback. It's too difficult to do much against them. Plus they had a few first-team offensive selections as well. You gotta hand it to their coaching staff.

Agreed. Their D-linemen had their way with us and put instant pressure on Tanner most of the game which caused a lot of scrambles, botched plays and sacks. It all starts up front and Weber's D was by far and away the best we faced all year. Folks have to understand even the best offensive teams that went against Weber struggled. Not 1 FCS team put over 30 points on them all year. EWU could only muster 6 points on them. There's no excuses in football, but it's the last game of the season, players are beat up and we go against arguably one of the best FCS defenses in the country.
