• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

This may be “enjoy it while it lasts,” though the women’s form appears on target for this. It’s early.

But how about March in Eugene?

Probably a bit early, but ncaa brackets including PSU and meaningful football games in November are things that we rarely get to talk about around here.

FYI the women's bracket is announced beginning at 4pm today... ESPN shows it.

The projection, after all this time, has Portland State going to Eugene.

(Still ughhing that Oregon would have been a 1-seed except Ruthy Hebard went down for two games)

Thinking that if Oregon would have been a 1 seed, politics would have made us a 16 (or we'd be going to Corvallis perhaps).

So, thanks ESPN! Not.

Looks like we're playing the Ducks in Eugene. Nice that the state of Oregon got three women's teams into the bracket.

We're coming for you, Lady Rubber Duckies!!! Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Anyone else notice we are two wins away from hosting the regional. :thumb:

Opening as a huge underdog in the first round.

I know the Duckies have a great team this year, but I have a feeling we will cover.

So... things clicked for 8 minutes.

Imagine a fitter Hansen and another year wiser for Jimenez. Now can Portland State replace Bolston and West? Answer those questions and there’s a solid core for this team for two years.

Like I mentioned on OLive, it is important for the team to use this as a stepping stone, an indication of where they want to be, and not be content with where they are right now. We now have the facilities, but we need to improve recruiting and scheduling to get us to the point where just making it to the tournament is not cause for celebration, but rather is expected.

I was very disappointed in the showing of both our women's team and Montana's men's team. The conference as a whole needs to get better.
