• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Portal Transfer 2024

Is it just me or is it odd that he can't spell Sacramento even though he's lived here for a while?
Not tripped about that.

I looked at 2023 stats and never caught a pass in a game. Maybe he can get playing time at Cow Polly, Directional Colorado, or Utah JC, aka Utah Tech. Also Big Sky Bus university Portland.

Serious challenges. NIL has changed the game, unless we start coming up big this will be a challenge for our program moving forward. The guys they were game planning around are moving on, might be a good time to hit the portal and snag some guys.

The Rocha one really puzzles me. You were in line (probably) for a big jump in playing time, especially with Broussard in the portal. He's on scholarship at a Top 10-15 FCS school coming off a year where he made some plays, then bounces....

This is just the new normal, it's going to be a lot like NFL free agency. Sac State hasn't been hit that hard so far, to be honest, compared to other FCS teams.

Guys either want to be on a bigger program late in their career, or maybe they get passed up by a younger players on the depth chart in the spring and see the writing on the wall. Sac seems to like to play a lot of guys, maybe guys are looking for more PT. This is why having an established system with lots of depth will be huge moving forward. Teams are going to be wildly different year to year.

Playing a lot players keeps many fresh for rotation, spreads out the wear / tear grind of the game too. Then when somebody does unexpectedly leave at least we have some experience!

WE NEED SAC STATE to visit local business to be NIL partners! Cam Skatt has a “BOO Ritto” that will give him $.

Let’s go

FCS=Minor League Farm system for P4. Even the G5 are prone to turnstile rosters.
Sorry, not sorry, to hear Huard is gone for SLO.
Even some P4 #1 players are entering.
