Didn't expect a win on the road, but losing by 34 in your Big Sky opener is kind of embarrassing.

EWU pasted Sac State today. Meanwhile, once the shots started falling in the second half, the Viks managed Idaho well enough.

PSU has similar results against Air Force and Wazzu to what EWU did, but the Eagles had a rather intense OOC schedule (everything on the road except two non-NCAA opponents), multiple top 25 teams and some other power schools. Despite more losses, that schedule arguably paid off for them, and I’m sure recent previous success has helped overcome their financial issues when it comes to recruiting.
