I'm sure you've all already heard, but I'm still stoked that Hornet OL Jackson Slater was drafted in the 5th Round by Tennessee.

I wish my Cowboys had taken him. Unfortunately, Jerry Jones isn't that intelligent....

Congratulations, Jackson! May your career take you to major heights, including the Super Bowl, the Hall of Fame, and many family memories....

Also, the New York Giants picked up Rio Linda HS/Sac State/AZ State RB Cameron Skattebo, leaving me disappointed that A. he wasn't taken with the #1 pick in the draft (yes, I'm biased, very biased) and B. he wasn't taken by my Cowboys, but within the division.

Likewise, I hope his future career is joyful and includes things like SB rings, League rushing titles, and the Hall of Fame.

The CFL Draft is for Canadian players only. (Those that played collegiately in Canada or the States.) American players would sign after the draft as free agents.
