Well, we did get a transfer in from Montana State. Zachary Dodson Greene transferred in from the Bobcats. Hometown kid from Salem.

Former Montana State Bobcats Cole Bullock, Zachary Dodson-Greene commit to new programs

Both football players are staying in the FCS, with Dodson-Greene remaining in the Big Sky Conference.

Its the curse of being a sports team in Portland. From the Blazers and Timbers on down to most of the college programs around town, we are all too good to be bad and too bad to be good, which constantly places all of us in the middle somewhere. Bad but not terrible, and good but not great.

Yeah, you're right. I don't fault the players either. Just a bummer. Our best players (and coaches) transfer out and we get their transfers who barely had playing time.

Decently optimistic that the basketball team will continue to do well. Would be great if both UP and PSU can drive some D1 basketball excitement around the city. Seems like they've been drawing larger crowds for their rivalry games in the past couple of years.
