Your new head coach really moves between jobs fast!

This guy seems like he's on the fast-track for some reason.. Never stays in the same place too long.. Why is that?

His wikipedia starts with his "Early Career" - Get this- his "early career starts in 2013! 2013 was like yesterday to me..

Amazing that someone who failed to keep a job for more than 2 years in a row since his career started would be given a head coaching position.. With ZERO college head coaching (any level) experience. Again.. was it the cowboy hat.. or.. ?

That would have been a huge red flag for me in the hiring process, not to mention the lack of results as a head coach at the college level (because he never was and has 2 years total head coaching experience at the high school level).

Thats right, I am against all forms of discrimination, reverse or otherwise. DEI is reverse discrimination. If you profuse it, you are racist. Look at the csus.edu website at the top, why call out being a Asian Islander, Black and Hispanic serving recognized institution? Why is that the call out and not we are a R2 Research driven University that promotes all students based on ability, proven prior achievement and desire?

Can you explain why we dont have a White Honors College? I know you wouldnt be a candidate, but curious why it is ok for one culture to be 'racist' and another its taboo? Last time I checked all Homo Sapiens have the same DNA genome.

What happened to good old rock n roll being played at sporting events? Why does everything have to now be a tribal rap monstrosity?

I get the concern, but I see it a bit differently. The Black Honors College isn’t about excluding anyone — it’s support for a group that’s faced real barriers in college settings.

In D1 sports, nearly half of football players and over half of basketball players are Black — so having more Black coaches and staff isn’t surprising. Same with the music; it reflects the players and students.

DEI isn’t about giving handouts — it’s about making sure people who’ve been left out have a fair shot. That’s not taking anything away from anyone else.

And let’s be honest — you sound like the type who thinks “Mexicans” are stealing your job... when they’re out here doing roofing and landscaping in 100-degree heat.

No, Sac Isn't the most prepared to move FCS to FBS our they would have been selected to do so. NDSU, Montana, Montana State and SDSU aren't even going FBS.. and you guys think you are? What is going on here?

I read people on this forum thinking they would choose you over Texas State for the Pac-12. I mean, the lack of self awareness and cognitive dissonance going on here is beyond belief. You thought you had a better chance than Texas State?

"They have performed extremely well in FCS in recent years".. I guess he wasn't counting last year going 1-7 in The Big Sky and tied for last place? Every year recently, except last year he forgot to mention apparently..

First guy mentions Shaq.. he's not involved with the football program, so what does this have to do with anything about football? Who cares? Does Sac have a famous scientist or swimmer we can say will help the football program also? It just doesn't make sense what these people are saying.

We will see how many games Shaq even attends before he decides he's done with it. Bibby? Ok, again nothing to do with football..

No mention of how much money would be needed to get the stadium up to FBS standards either..

It appears your admin and a few locals must be desperately complaining to their congresspeople. Did you guys try to sue your way in yet? You got all excited, put the cart ahead of the horse, insulted the entire FCS football community with "Dr. Wood" calling the FCS "essentially JV football" Haha F that guy.. Wood is "essentially a Doctor." In my opinion.

I doubt any of those programs would deny and FBS invitation IF they had the finances to do so.

Our community support, leadership and our over 30K student body support our going FBS. That Coach who had a bad season last year is no longer on staff here. NEW HC. High expectations for our program.

Go bale some hay or something before the tundra freezes over. We look forward to a fun closing season. Respect to big Sky conf. It’s been a good 30yr relationship.

DEI is racism. Excluding anybody for race, religion, gender or skin color. MERIT is all that matters.
I like basketball. But it doesn’t help that I wasn’t born 6’6” maybe somebody should change the rules (lower basket) to assist me? Does that sound good?
Academically you either work hard and pass classes or you don’t. Simple. Giving a group a passing grade for a 50% score would be a tragedy for everybody. A graduate that isn’t prepared to compete in the professional business world wouldn’t be a source of pride. It would still end in failure.
Equality and Justice for all is the mantra of this nation. I’m excited for our new coaching staffs in FB & BB. I don’t care what color skin they have.results are expected regardless.

The Montana and Dakota schools have to add sports. They do not meet the minimum for ANY FBS conference right now.

I don’t know why people don’t understand this. It’s pretty simple.

You are correct. The term DEI has purposely been corrupted, just like the term woke. Knowledge, fairness and attention to inequality threatens to break the unmerited advantage some have. That makes some uncomfortable so it must be racism. Or reverse racism, whatever that means.

How does the quote go? When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression?
