Gilkey out

Starting QB Gilkey had surgery for a broken leg, out for the season. Jennings likely next up. Hope it works out for the offense that sorely needs to be productive & finish. (Hopefully the red zone play calling is fixed.) If not it's going to be a long, losing season in the BSC.

Feel bad for Gilkey. Hope everything goes well with surgery and recovery. I don’t think many QBs can make this play calling look good, but 9 picks doesn’t make me think Gilkey is not partly to blame either. Portland State is looking better…so I think most likely chance at a W is EWU. I think 2-6 is the high bar for conference record…0-8 in Big Sky is still very possible. One more year left on the contract…so settle in people.

Probably right & men's basketball is facing a suspect, possibly stress filled season (national sports magazine has them picked dead last in the BSC). On the bright side of things, there's the shining W on the hillside (a few are complaining too bright) & Oh, your Cubs are winning!!

Yes, the lighted W is good (it would be better if it was the go W and not a flaming W—but I’ll take it!)

And hells yeah, the Cubs are winning! Gotta enjoy this ride as long as I can! 😀 It looks like Cubs baseball and Mammoth hockey are going to be the bright side of things for sports for a while.
