The PAC-MWC Dominoes Begin to Fall/Conference Realignment

Like I’ve been saying, SAC to MAC, stadium pivot we will really like, and full steam ahead before 2031 realignment/media deals are renegotiated and the PAC and MWC might be ready to have a look at us.

Great scoop Kadeezy...especially since I posted the MAC/Wood meeting on November 28th and stated that it was the last FBS play on the board.

Until proven otherwise, why should anyone believe any differently?

Even if they eventually announce something seemingly concrete — I’ll still remain highly skeptical.

Always lots of talk, very little to no real action.

I’d be beyond thrilled to be surprised and proven wrong.

I’m confident that it’s happening…not exactly the way many/most wanted it to, but it’s happening.

If they do move up and it results in 20 years as an FBS indy or football only member somewhere, "holding" will still be a win for the Hornets.

In the meantime, I may have some glimmer of hope our Cal State stingers will at least continue trying to improve basketball and won't be lazy like other CSUs are. Maybe...

And if their NET rankings are ever higher than the dirty dungpilers, that will be a win for the Big West.

I think an FBS program and attention can only benefit hoops. The only way SAC isn't in the BW for Oly sports 5 years from now is if we kick major @ss in the MAC and the MWC and PAC come calling.

I’ll take your word for it. It’d be great to be proven wrong and finally see some actual progress.

And despite how much of a clown Dr. PHD continues to be, I’ve said before that I’ll give him full credit and major kudos if football and/or basketball end up in FBS and with new facilities. Nobody else has been able to accomplish it.
