Playing a healthy Bobcats team on the road is the toughest FCS game on the schedule. To have a chance, the Wildcats can’ti commit turnovers and force a few. They need the defense to be as good if not better than last week.

It’s a tall task, but the Wildcats need to play loose as the underdog and leave all the pressure on Montana State. I think it’s possible. I’ll go with my heart on this one and pick the Wildcats to make a statement. October is “Believe” time!

Montana State does not instill the fear of years past although they still are the class of the conference. Their message boards pretty much have already considered this game won for MSU. I hope their players and coaching staff overlook us as well.

I watched a lot of their game with EWU. EWU hung with them for a short time, but got worn down as the game went on. MSU, as usual, is a power running team. They can pass it when needed, but the run game is their bread and butter. We have been improving on our run D, but this will be the biggest test yet. Nobody expects us to win, so just go play hard and see what happens. I doubt very much that they are looking past us. They have already taken a loss to Idaho. I'm sure that sharpened their focus quite a bit. On the other hand, our guys are young and don't know they are supposed to lose.

This one will be a daunting task. Hoping to keep it close enough we don't get punished in the rankings. Another great opportunity to compete and grow the program.
