It is unfortunate but there were alot of teams in the top 15 who put up some serious numbers this last weekend and there were several almost 1A upsets!! I think if we would have been more competitive with Cal our ranking would have not dropped. But I'm not worried because I know we are better than quite a few of the teams who are assembled in the top 15 I would even go as far to say better than Montana.
The teams that I think who are definitely going to be in the running for a nationals title are

Furman
Illinois State
Youngstown State
Southern Illinois
Hampton
Portland State
Cal Poly
Montana
Nicholls State was a team that impressed me this last saturday going up strong against WAC team La Tech, leading almost the entire game. I think they might be highly under-rated.
Bethune Cookman is another team that will soon rise into the 1AA top 25.
I'm curious if anybody else in the PSFF has been following 1AA very well, because I think that there are several team who are very under-rated and could suprise alot of teams. What does everybody else think??
Idaho State is playing pretty well and I think will be a tough game for us.
After this weekend there are some BSC teams who in the past have been tough teams to beat but now are looking to try to have .500 season such as Montana State, and Eastern Washington. The teams who have struggled in years past that I think will have quite a bit of inprovement this year are Northern Arizona, and Weber State.
