#19 McNeese State @ Weber State

We have played two fbs and a ranked fcs and we are 0-3. I was thinking we would be lucky as fans to see a 1-2 record at this point. Now EWU who is top 10 I think.

I have no comments on what we could have done better in those three games. I dont blame the O or D. The 3 head coaches in the last 9 months ain't help'n.
Agreed. I think it's easy to single out the play calling, but the program is in a bit of disarray, whether we are willing to admit it or not. It's going to take some time for Sears to implement the right players, system and staff before it all meshes. It would be naive of us to think they were going to be competitive right out of the gates.
Also, give some credit to Weber State's tough schedule. FBS games are always tough, and so is McNeese (usually) but the Big Sky is getting better every year. There aren't any "easy" games until November when we take on Northern Colorado and Idaho State, and they haven't been so "easy" to beat every time we've played them anyway. I don't think it would be unrealistic to see this team at 0-9 before those games. Not to say some of those games aren't winnable, but it's simply a testament to how good all those teams are now. That includes, UC Davis, Cal Poly, Sac State and Southern Utah.
