I'm really looking forward to this one, we are the hottest team in the conference and the PSU team is really struggling. We need to keep playing lights out to lock up #3 and have a chance at stealing the #2 seed from Webber in the last game of the regular season.

Venky, Bogden and Austin have been on fire the last three games and hope to see them continue the longest win streak in the last 11 (12?) years.

Let's go eags!!

Our offense is looking great...but then HOLY SMOKES PSU is on fire! 6/6 to start, and the scoring deluge continues on their part. Only saving grace is they are already pushing foul trouble, at this pace they will fall apart by the 2nd half.

Yep, we better hope they get in some more foul trouble.

Coach's teams are fun to watch but they will never get to be in the big time until he fines an assistant that can coach defense. Sad but true
You are correct. A team (any team) should not score 91 points in an NCAA game and lose. Seems like we are hoping to outscore teams. On most nights lately, it's been working. But outscoring teams is not going to consistently work in March. Offense is not always going to be consistent for any team (that's just how the game goes-- it's like golf, hard to put the ball in the hole sometimes), but defense can be consistent every night because it's about effort and effort travels well on the road. Don't get me wrong, this eags offense is one of the best I've ever seen and I love it. Just need to get our opponent's shooting percentage down a little bit. The way we can score, even decent defense can/will win us games. But, if we want to get to, and win a game in the Big Dance, it's going to take great defense along with great offense. We have the size, strength, end athleticism to do both. It will be interesting to see how our team finishes the regular season.

Go eags!
