Good game. The least points we've scored, but the best the D has played IMO, especially in the second half. I think I was as excited about those 3 and outs as I was about the touchdowns!!!

Good patient victory! Glad the players with family and friends in the area got to see them, already seems like a long season and am sure this was a welcome deep breath for them.

If you think Baldwin is staying at a school that can't find $$ to add to a 10,000 seat facility you're crazy.
It's just a matter of time. Which is why it's so important to get the donations necessary while he' still and the team is winning. With the new President who knows what the funding level will be for football down the road.

I wonder if he's just waiting for the right opportunity. Sometimes, "taking on the Cougs" for example may not be the best move for long term success. But it's all speculation on my part. I am grateful to have him, and hope he stays for a very long time to come. But I doubt it's a bigger stadium that keeps him if there is an offer for 8 times his current salary.

Any one at the game? Was Simba Webster there? Any recruiting news? Loved to see all the people supporting their Eag players with signs and attending.
Yah, I was at the game, and did see some recruits at the game on the sidelines. And yes, they were excited when EWU was doing there thing, scoring and doing run stuffing stops in the 2nd half. But can't say I was watching them a whole lot, just noticed they were down there. VA Adams had a large contingent there as well as Mario Brown. It was a great EWU crowd and LOUD. The funniest part of the game was the UC Davis students had to be told when to cheer, LOL! It was move in weekend for the freshman and it was pretty obvious it was there 1st football game, Also, the UC Davis BAND was playing loudly at times when there own team was on offense. I guess after we were laughing at them in the 4th quarter when they were getting stopped, they figured out they were hindering there team. lol. Anyway, it was BREWFEST weekend at the UC Davies tailgate, and we ALL had a blast with 40 Micro breweries on hand. Fun times! The offense left about 14 points off the board and the defense gave up 1 really long bad 70 yard TD play. I know the score was 37-14, but could have easily been 51-7. Also, the refs were HORRIBLE, just took points off our board . Seems like very time we had a bid play, it was called back for a penalty. Lots of good to come for EWU in the next month!!

Two TD's called back hurt for sure. Funny to say that being the number one target of opposing Big Sky teams has resulted in being a target for the officials as well. Go Eags!
