2007-08 WSU Basketball Schedule

This is getting exciting. I can't wait for the season to get going.
I think having brody at the point is great. I loved watching his intense defense last year. Even though he didn't score a ton of points last year it seemed whenever he was on the court the team played better. Davis is the man too. It's too bad you can't start 6!

Look for Steve Panos to break into the starting lineup soon, that will give us much better match ups for our 2nd unit.

If big Steve Jumps in the Starting line up will that move Billings to the Second team? I think that Panos is a hell of a player, and he does things in the post that are great. What is Morris and Arnolds rolls going to be this season?

Arnold is just hoping that he will get the okay to play from the NCAA. As for Morris for the time being he is the #1 back-up 5. When Arnold gets the nod he will most likely be the backup 5 with Morris being able to play either the 5 or 4. Billings is a Senior, he will start every game this season, but Panos will play significant mins.

Panos will be starting in place of Billings VERY soon, having Billings come off the bench gives us a better 2nd unit, besides Billings is way more effective coming off the bench. Billings is certinaly playing good enough to be the starter, but it gives us a much better match up having Billings and Morris come off the bench instead of two very young bigs in Morris and Panos playing together.

The Standard Examiner said that Panos will be the starter for Saturday's game. I agree.. Billings is far more effective coming in off the bench. I'm excited about Morris. In both exhibition games he looked somewhat confused, but that is to be expected, since he is a freshman. All he needs is time and experience and he will improve. Lets hope Arnold has some skills.
