2008-09 season

The only things good about the OSU game was the play of Wade and Depaepe. Wade was very impressive against OSU's starters and 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in 14 minutes against a team like OSU (which should be nationally ranked) bodes well for PSU in the future.

good question and in that line why isn't Wade getting more time???
seems that post play suffers a bit with this team once Kahle is gone who will pick up??? need some development now I think...Kate D. is playing well but even she and Cremer seem to have limited minutes.

freja:

Who knows? Maybe she will get some minutes against Santa Barbara which has two 6'4" posts who are good. When a 5'9" lady is successful posting up against PSU (according to the Idaho State coach), it may help to try a little height in the paint. PSU was fortunate that ISU's post missed uncontested layups time and time again.

Whatever, I would sure like to see the Vikings get to the NCAAs in Kelsey's final year. She deserves it.

she does and I'm sure they'd all like to get there both for her and for the team!! She is an un-dying workhorse out there, never never never lets up; fun to watch! Hope they manage the posts of UCSB, they have a few!

yep wondered the same thing...makes no sense and it seems to have cost them this time...

It looks like it cost their scoring. Disappointing result.

As long as they keep rolling through conference play, I don't mind a non-conference loss.

true true but you'd like to see them finish with a "W" no matter who they play, it's not any easier v Montana! gotta be able to pull out the W's.

They seemed to fall apart last 5 min...weird subs in from what I could make out via the radio broadcasters...couldn't watch link it didn't work in fact did anyone else come up with the registration request for paid viewing for this game? We couldn't get any video link at all...not the usual formatting, kind of made me angry not to be able to watch unless we paid and then there was no way to choose a "purchase Package" once you went through registration....any ideas on what that was all about?

I guess I am confused, we had been able to watch video and hear audio without paying up until this last game. Is that something new ?? to charge for viewing I mean??

Big Sky screened the game free as usual on the web. PSU took Northern Colorado to the cleaners today, winning 92-71. Did a lot of full court pressing in the second half and took UNC entirely out of their game. Kelsey Kahle hit 23 points, breaking PSU's all-time record for career points. No doubt she'll have many more records under her belt by the end of the season. Faucher had 11 points and 11 assists. PSU is now 5-0 in conference; Montana is 4-0 - tonight she'll go 5-0, no doubt, winning against Weber State. All others trail behind. The Montana game looms large!
