I just wanted to say congratulations on your Big Sky Championship! It must be pretty exciting for all of you! Actually, I'm prettty glad that a team other than Montana won it this time. Sorry we couldn't give you a better game on Saturday, but our talent level is way down this year. Hope that Coach McBride's health is improving. Hey Wildfan, if you're out there, hope you're doing well with your job and all. And say hello to all of your family from me.

Howdy to you too! I changed jobs about a year ago, marital status a bit before that. I took 3 of the little Wildfans upto the ISU game, at halftime we went walking through the home section in hopes of maybe runing into you.

Hi Wildfan, no I wasn't at the ISU game. I figured that we'd play poorly, and I had a wedding to go to that afternoon. Actually, it was my wedding -- I got married to my Russian sweetheart. First time I've ever been married. I changed jobs too over a year ago, and am teaching and tutoring in the Boise schools. It's been pretty rough for us Bengal fans to be playing this poorly this year, and the losing has taken its toll on many of us. But I think we'll be a contender for the BSC championship in men's BB, though. We'll keep in touch, my friend, and I'm sure I'll get a chance to see you down in Utah sometime. Later!!

I think maybe you chose the more productive of the two options of activities to attend that afternoon... Congrats on getting hitched!

And now that we have hi-jacked this thread, back to the regularly-scheduled posts about the mighty Wildcats and their most incredible conference football championship.

I wasn't able to make the trip up with most of you, and that made me depressed. So I wrote a blog about it on the Fan's website www.weberhoops.com/wildcatwall
you can also see highlight video taken by Cheese on the blog as well. enjoy.

YOU PISS ME OFF...Anytime and Anywhere this Wildcat team will beat the Grizz... Just like the awakening that took place on Oct 4 for the Grizz, one happened today for the Cats... Not a moment to soon, right before the playoffs. I was hoping for different brackets, now... I just want the GRIZZ.. Want a championship game..Well there you go.. Might as well ask O'Day, Lollerton, and Graybeal to ask the NCAA to dispense with the no conference teams playing each other rule in the first round shiz, cause Weber will take on the UM anytime, in anything, anywhere and beat you! Football, Basketball, Soccer, Academics, hell under-water basket weaving... Us Cats are far superior to any crap that comes from Missula!

Montana v. Weber - 47 games: Montana 35, Weber 12. Hey Wordsmith, check this out: ab·er·ra·tion: deviation: a departure from what is normal

Wish like hell we could get you back - we're a much different team than you played two months ago. But, you'll never make it past Cal Poly. So, bye bye.

utah has three 1-a football teams along with football from weber state, SUU, and Snow
College. (there is so much football in Utah, I am probably forgetting someone) Montana only has two 1-aa teams. With all that competion for recruiting and money Weber State has, it should really piss Montana fans off that Weber is even able to compete with them let alone share a Big Sky Championship with them. This is more proof of how superior Weber State, and the state of Utah, is to Montana.
I'd like a rematch with Montana, too, but unfortunately i doubt they even get past the first round.

Oh boy, here come the excuses.

Now, now... you know the odds: Griz -21, Cal Poly -9.

Hey, all this jabbin' aside, you've had one hell of a season and you've got our respect, that's for sure. The first part of your game with EWU didn't reflect the quality of the Wildcats just as the first part of our season had little to do with who the Griz are now. It would be really fun to see these two match up now, but the odds are against it.

Da Griz... way to throw out those GRE words... Wow, I'm really impressed you must have gone to grad school somewhere other than Montana, are you in Utah now? Can you now tell me what an anarchronism is... I think it means UM being a football power in the BSC. (By the way, I'm glad you are on our board feel free to comment anytime).

I will agree with you Da Griz... UM has come on strong (what was with the ISU game). Against MSU you put a beat down on the bobcats, very impressive, since they were playing extremely well leading up to the big game. Against the Eag's, I think it was a little bit of the Bye week Blues that got Weber. I know Bye weeks are good for injuries, but I'm against them. (I hate BYU) Lavel Edwards said that Bye weeks only slow progress, and tried to play every week of the season (1996 season is a great example of his philosophy). I know that the BYE week definitely hurt the Cats momentum. Oh well... I hope Weber is able to beat the odds (UM did beat Cal Poly in SLO, I think that WSU can to) and is able to meet up with the Grizz. Good luck against Texas State.

I was making the point that though it could be used as an excuse it isn't. Afterall we are Big Sky Champions! I guess it could be used as an excuse to why we lost to Montana this year.. oh wait, we won. My bad.

SCHOOL! Thanks! It was on that to-do list I lost.

And the same to you! I'd much rather see a Griz-grudge game than a pissed Cal Poly, although Wa-Griz tends to even things out a bit.

Yes, and thanks to you, so are we... for the 11th consecutive season!
