2008 Big Sky Conference Champions

Sorry Da Griz- didn't notice you saying some nice comments in the past. good. I was just on the most recent forums where you made yourself look kinda nasty. Just didn't want Weber to have that bad taste in their mouths about us when they come here. Looks can be deceiving....

I want them to have the foulest of all tastes in their mouths come 4:00 PM this Saturday!

It's all good from here on in. We already beat both Montanas for the first time in 20 something years, we won our first Big Sky title (shared with the team we BEAT) in more than 20 something years, and won our first playoff game in more than a decade against a team ranked nine spots ahead of us.

If the lads play to their potential, they can beat anyone. Heck, if they play close to their potential and don't make too many mistakes they can beat anyone. If they stumble, we still had a GREAT season and we're bringing back most of 'em next year. It's all good, but just think about how GREAT it would be to beat Montana TWICE in the same season!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

We're not putting it past you - you've got the real deal this year, for sure. We're better than we were on October 2 by more than just two month's experience. And, Wa-Griz is the only real home advantage in the Conference. So (close your ears omdtaylor), we win.

i think montana is a little too confident about home field advantage some times that doesn't matter when it comes to playoffs

#5 MONTANA VS #12 WEBER STATE
By Germumder
Weber State beat Montana earlier this year, 45-28. But that was at Weber State. This week’s game will be in the unfriendly confines of Washington-Grizzly Stadium, where Montana is (23-6) in playoff games, including a perfect (8-0) in quarterfinal matchups. As good as Weber State has done I think this is the end of the road for them. Montana wins their 9th straight quarterfinal match at home.

Today is the day that competitive players live for!

A chance to beat Montana TWICE in the same season for the first time in the history of the universe!

A chance to beat Montana AT HOME in the quarterfinals for the first time in the history of the universe!

A chance to advance to the semifinals for the first time in the history of the universe!

So many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for Weber State University!

These are the lads who can do it!

In their enthiusiasm, our Grizz friends have overlooked the improvements and motivations of our own very young team over the two months since the 4th of October.

Nice work Native, it shows true dedication to the fan board to post this from the hotel in Missoula. Especially when the rest of us were busy getting our grub on in the lobby.
