Of course, since when has the NCAA made any sense? This is an organization that allowed a hoopster to do a video diary during the NCAA Tournament, but wouldn't let a football player accept transportation, food, and lodging for an unpaid acting gig in another country. No sense whatsoever.

ANY high school student. Please read the rules and regs in the NCAA manual. I know its cumbersome (as is the NCAA), but its what the school agreed to, to be a member.

Actually, that is not true. Colleges do give HS players they are recruiting free tickets to the games. There is a special gate for high school players where they pick up their tickets. They do not have to pay for these and its perfectly legal. My son's played high school and college ball and I recall them getting free tickets to Cal and UCLA games and also getting invited to go down on the stadium field during pre-game and getting in the locker room after the game at CAL.
