I'm hoping for Texas St. so I can host some PSU fans and show them some Texas size hospitality.
We've played Texas State before, when they were called Southwest Texas State. What happened to McNeese against EWU? Was totally surprised by that outcome, as the Cowboys were the most impressive team we played this year, and we actually beat the eagles. I guess that's football.

Yeah, I think Cal Poly might beat the Griz, but I hear what you're saying about wishing that PSU could afford to play that kind of schedule. I still think UM could take 2-3 losses next year.

On the flip side, UM can't afford not to play a schedule like this. With 23k (will be 25k) per game at home, the athletic department budget depends on the football revenue. They'll never trade a weak FCS or DII game at home to play a tough FCS or mid-major FBS team for 100k to 250k on the road.
Talk about being stuck at different ends of the spectrum. :-\

Has there been any more scuttlebutt about the 2008 schedule and how was Montana able to get thier finalized so quickly?
Should be any day I would guess.
