2009-10 Schedule?

A D-III, two NAIAs, and a Great West add-on. Yikes! What a schedule. I know we need the wins to boost confidence, but these won't help us in the least. At least the Great West school has an excuse: the game is part of a tournament with at least one D-I game in it.

They definitely need to play some lower divisions coming off the year they just had. I was pretty shocked to see two Pac 10 schools scheduled. I wonder if they will be getting paid for these losses. I do have to question why they are playing a non-conference team twice (Seattle).

Im sure we will get somewhere near $50-60K each for the Pac 10 games. If you look at the Big Sky sked, the weeks we have scheduled Seattle is the week we have a bye in the conference...so the games makes sense..don't want to get too rusty with a week off and you play a transitional D-I program. Good schedule to grow on for the team.

I actually like the lighter schedule, and if you look at the BSC most teams have schedules very similar to this. Now how it plays into victories is almost impossible to predict with a completely new roster. I've really good things about Katz, but man I can't handle another year like the last one. We need to show some progress - offensive development and being tough on the road. These may not translate into significant W's this year, but no blow outs in BSC!

Seriously?!? I mean what are you thinking?!?! :o I don’t care how bad a team in any sport may compare against “the farm extension”, under no circumstances do you ever, EVER, side with them! :x

I have followed the board for a year now, Kadeezy is usually right on, but I ws in Seattle last year when Seattle played UW and UW beat them something like 68-64 but score was closer because UW got a few late free throws- I might move those games to the maybe column. I would like to see more wins, but I do not see us being competitive in the BSC this year.
