2009-10 Schedule?

My friend from school is actually in vegas now and I told him to bet on the Hornets +5 on Saturday night. Won him some moolah.

10/12!!! Good win over ISU tonight!!!
It was. I am thinking Kadeezy might be someone I would want to take with me on my next trip to Vegas! :P

Why the admiration for Kadeezy - he picked the Hornets to lose against Davis. I don't care how bad the team is, you just can't do that!!

Hey, I only let my heart overtake my head when it comes to football picks!

Frankly, sometimes I scare myself sometimes with my BSC knowledge (2002-Present)

This team is not bad at all. Yeah they have had some stretches where they haven't played their best (the USC and Pacific games), but they are competitive. Coach has done an outstanding job of getting these guys who work their a***** off and I couldnt ask for anything more at this point. It will be interesting to see how they do against LMU.

P.S. I'm regretting my 1/9/09 prediction of a victory over Seattle U. Cameron Dollar's bunch is VERY good already. A staff that boasts former Hornet assistant coach Dwayne Canada and has coached the team to victories over Weber and Fresno State. I made this pick before I knew another figure from Hornet past made his way to SU over the summer...

Dollar/Canada brought former high major prospect Charles Garcia (6'10" 230) to Seattle U. Charles spent a semester in Sacramento during the Jenkins regime in 2007, but couldn't get his grades together to transfer to CSUS. The funny thing is, that if this kid got his grades together, he probably would've saved the Jenkins regime and gotten his teams to the tourney.

After a couple years at a JC down south, he signed with Washington, but didn't complete the necessary paperwork to play in the pac-10 as a "partial qualifier" and backed out when Dollar and Canada took over at Seattle U. He is tearing up the court for Seattle and is 8th in the country in scoring and could be a lottery pick in the NBA draft if he chooses to leave after one season at SeattleU... If you get a chance to catch this game on 1/9... GO. The last two NBA'ers to play in the Hornet's Nest were Ronnie Price and Rodney Stuckey.

11 for 13!
I am thinking Kadeezy should be thinking about setting up a business where he calls the line on games...I also do not hold the Cow Dung pick against you. That was a pick based on facts not emotion. I have been a Raider fan for about 35 years, went to school with Jim Otto's son, and have enough sense to know that San Diego is a better team right now. Keep up the good work!!

LMU did beat USC and Notre Dame, but I think this is a good measuring stick for the Hornets IMO... They're a step above ISU, but a notch below UOP.

LMU's backcourt is going to give us problems with their size and athleticism. Marcial and Toles-Bay might have a rough go of it... LMU isn't necessarily big or strong as a team, but they're quick and long and can get in the passing lanes. This is something we struggle with as a team already. Too many lazy passes around the perimeter getting picked (even agains William Jessup). Also, we need to get our damn baseline inbounds plays working better. I think we got a bucket off one last game, but most often it ends up with the inbounder lofting the ball to someone at half court which has resulted in steals and a backcourt call on us... 10-12 pt. vitory for LMU since we're at home. If this game was down south, LMU takes it by 13-16.

LMU 71 SAC 60
