2012/13 schedule

games vs non-dI schools in the rahe era as seen below. so we can expect at least 1 to be added.

2007: 3
2008: 2 (or 3 if this was before CS Bakers went DI)
2009: 2
2010: 2
2011: 3
2012: 2

2013: ? probably we can expect 2 of these home games if we have room.

we have played mt tech something like 5 times in 7 years.

We can expect the 27 games to now be 28 or 29.

I don't think that UU has risen to the level of CSI or EUCC. Give them 3 or four years and they may get there. If we play them now, it would have to be as an exhibition game.

it really sux not having the mUtes on the schedule. it was nice to see them and usu at the dee every other year and byu the odd year. at least we get to finally play uvu now so that is a plus.

overall this looks like a pretty decent schedule for our new team. it will help them to have more home games than road games. more conf games is cool too since it has always been a struggle to get the kinds of ooc games that will make us all happy home or away.

talhad/smj/aj/cheesus,

when will the schedule be officially released? i hope it will be today. july 10 just feels right. last few years it has been mid to late july. :thumb:

I heard from my "inside" source (looooooooool I'm a sod) that the schedule should be released today.

I'm thinking 29 or 30 games.

Oh, in 2008, Bakersfield was a DI independent and we played them twice.

I'm sure we can expect the university of southwestern state college of road island in Puerto Rico to be on our schedule along with some crap team from either Colorado or Montana. But in reality those games are good. Gives the guys on the end of the bench some playing time, helps the team work out sets and plays, and gives the team someone else to play against as they prepare for the conference battles. All in all not a terrible idea. I just wish, since they are home games, they would be against low level DI teams, like Utah and Texas Pan America.

i think it is a very safe bet a non dI from CO or MT. lol. but most of our games vs colorado christian have been in exhibs. but there is also fort lewis and western state.

my guess will be we host mt tech and western state. you can take uc colorado springs and mt-western. who will win the bet?

Carroll College would be new. Adams State perhaps?

this is great that we get to play in san jose twice in 2013 since its where i live!

Did anyone else notice the 4 games in 7 nights? Thankfully they are all home but a Sat, Mon, Thurs, Sat schedule is killer especially since both Montanas are the last two games. I wonder if any other Sky school has that same thing in their schedule??? :?

Not as glamorous a home schedule than last year's, but it's still a heck of a lot better than Utah's schedule

I just noticed that too. Seems like a lot all at once. Good thing the games are all at home.

Why are both Weber vs. ISU games on Mondays? Could that be a sign that both are going to be on TV? I'm sure the Weber vs. UM games, one out of the two, will be ROOT.

This schedule sucks. Jeez.. Where's the Cal, St. Mary's, Unlv games?

Yeah, it isn't the most beautiful thing to look at. Dayton is a decent contest, but three beats? Hmmm...University of the Southwest, again??? That seriously bugs, seeing them on our schedule again. How will the program ever increase tkt sales if a bunch of our home games are against NAIA beats?
